We are officially married (February 2024) and Maui’d (April 2024)! If you’re wondering why we’ve been MIA on social media the past year, it’s because we were busy with planning our destination wedding, Clarisse was finishing up her grad program, and I was in the process of a career change on top of all our other responsibilities. Now that we’re in a new season, there are other things that we want to focus on and pursue. Our priorities have shifted away from Sow In Love. That being said, our season with Sow In Love has come to an end and we’ve officially closed down. We’d like to thank every single one of you who has ever hired us, ordered from us, supported/encouraged/prayed for us and our business. We’re grateful for the love we’ve been able to sow and also receive from you all. We don’t know if we’ll reopen in the future or if we’ll be doing something different (only God knows!) But we’re grateful for the experience, memories, connections and lessons learned throughout the years. We love you all and Jesus loves you more! God bless you all 🙏🏽

✨4 things to share with your florist when inquiring for their services✨

1. 💒 Your wedding/event date - We want to ensure that we are available on that day before sending you a proposal.

2.📍Location of venue - This helps us know if the location is within our area of service. We also need to know the location for delivery and set up purposes for the day of your wedding/event.

3. 🔢 Quantities - We need at least a general number to start off, and we can definitely add or remove florals as we continue planning (e.g. 1 bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, and 7 boutonnieres).

4.🎨 Color palette - We want to create a mood board and floral design that is to your liking. You are more than welcome to send us your Pinterest board and/or any inspiration pictures/references!

Who typically wears a boutonniere at the wedding?

The groom, the groomsmen, the bride’s father, the groom’s father, and the officiant. We’ve had clients request for boutonnieres for just the groom and groomsmen while others have requested some for their dads and granddads too, so it’s really up to you! ☺️

I love that we are able to attach moments and memories of people to flowers. When Josh proposed to me he was so thoughtful to use baby’s breath as part of his proposal because he knew how much I adored them and because it was also the first flower he ever gave me when we first started dating. One night he called me to come outside my apartment and I saw him with two of our friends and a bouquet of baby’s breath in his hand. Years later, I walk into my proposal and I’m reminded of how we started 🥹

Just got engaged? Congratulations!! We know that the planning processing can be so overwhelming, but we are here to help 🤍🤍🤍

Where to start:

💍 Start looking for floral inspirations for your wedding, and choose a color palette so that your florist will have a better idea of what you are looking for.

💍 Figure out a rough estimate of the quantities and floral pieces you want on your big day (e.g. arch, aisle flowers, bouquets, centerpieces etc.)

💍 Inquire with the florist you love! Ideally you want to book your florist no later than 6 months before your wedding date.

Now our job is to create a custom proposal and design just for you! We will remain available for questions and further discussion from the beginning of your planning until the final product is realized on your wedding day 🤍 Ahh, we are so excited for you!!

Hey SIL family! Thank you all for your patience 🙏🏽 We’re slowly making our way back to being more active. We do apologize for the mini hiatus. The past month has been a major rollercoaster 🎢 . We had a family emergency 🚨, we got engaged 💍, and then one of our loved ones went home to Heaven 🕊 All these things happened around the same time, so we have been taking the time to process everything, mourn, and celebrate. That being said, thank you again for your patience during this time. We’re excited to get back into the groove of things after this weekend! Much love and God bless you all 🙏🏽🤍

A reflexed tulip is where you manipulate the petals and gently open them up and bend them back to create a more opened look. Reflexing can also be done with roses 🌹

The clock is ticking and Mother’s Day is almost here 🎉 We’ve got quite the busy weekend coming up: bouquet orders to fulfill (pick ups & deliveries), a big order to fulfill for our home church (Freedom Worship Center), a mini floral arranging workshop to do with Freedom Worship Center’s children’s church, and of course celebrating our moms. This will be our busiest weekend thus far 😳 Please pray for us 🙏🏽😅
