I am a cut flower gardener and florist. I grow organic cut flowers for arrangements and bouquets. In winter, I mix retail blooms with local area greenery.

From spring to fall, the flowers & bouquets are available through popup sales or by preorder. I only use fresh and natural materials for the arrangements. I can provide bouquets or flowers in vases.

Corsage and boutenniere for homecoming. Capturing in photo, the true colors is never easy. Sometimes, I take pics with different backgrounds just to see what else jumps out at me. Swipe to see them in different backgrounds.

How cute is that! Our Halloween singing Minnie Mouse, is taking a sniff of the flowers.

Ok, I just made this today thinking I had an order for tomorrow morning. Messaged the client and turned out, I was a week too early. That's a first! Lol!!

So putting it up here, in case anyone wants a really pretty large arrangement. It's seasonal colors of coral and orange. Price would be $65+sales tax. Message if interested.

Good Morning on this Sunday!!

I've been absent a bit while the flowers fade, waiting for some fall colors to bloom, and harvesting a lot of veggies and fruits (and processing them).

But a couple of texts from folks, this week, inquiring about flowers, got me out harvesting today. These jars are available.

So, if you've been wanting a Jax is Blooming jar, please reach out. These are $20 a piece. Everything in the jars, is still from the Jax Is Blooming garden.

As we move into fall, I will be transitioning to jars filled with local and garden greenery, to reflect our nature.

Good Morning! So glad to hit a 3-day weekend after a hectic 3 weeks of school starts. Getting into the garden today to harvest most of the summer colors of everything growing. Just harvested a couple of jars of solo flowers in their best summer colors. Zinnias. These just make me smile.

Zinnias last almost 2 weeks in the vase, with some going even longer, when they are freshly harvested. These are available today. Pint jars, quart jars or small or large vase arrangements.

Flowers are booming. Led by the first round of some creatively-colored sunflowers. August is the peak month for the flowers we wait for all year. So, don't miss them if you're looking for a gift for someone.

So much beauty in these summer flowers. The garden is starting its summer peak. I picked these yesterday for an order today. All these are from the garden, and none of these are found in the stores. Doesn't mean they are exotic, just means they don't travel well.

I was curious about the size and scale of the U.S. flower market, so looked up some stats. "In 2022, United States imported $2.48B in Cut Flowers, mainly from Colombia ($1.64B), Ecuador ($413M), Netherlands ($135M), Canada ($89.9M), and Mexico ($62.9M)."

Our local markets are minuscule compared to these. So, if you like to shop local, and seasonal, there are other flower growers in our area. Keep us in mind. We might not be the cheapest, but we will be the freshest.

When the garden is happy, I'm happy. We've had such a sweltering three weeks, I'm so glad the weather gods are gifting us and the plants these few days of cooler weather. A feast for the eyes and the soul. Happy Sunday!

I'm so glad for these glads (gladiolas). Feels like the perfect warm color for our hot days.

I wasn't sure how they would look, I planted them late, and was worried about whether they would hold up on our windy days. But, all good so far.

There's several blooming, so if you'd like an arrangement with these tall and stately flowers, this is the time.

Enjoying this book on a quiet morning w my coffee. I love books with botany leanings. It feeds the gardener and flower arranger in me.

Once in a while, I read a book, so close to who I am at my core, that it's satisfying enough for the next 4-5 books I read that are just meh.

This is a non-fiction, and she writes about how tress, plants, and flowers have dispersed to foreign locales from their native beginnings.
--Cherry trees, a gift of diplomacy by the Japanese to the world.
--Seaweed, attaching itself to floaters and reaching far shores.
--Tea from its humble beginning growing in the hilltop in China
--Mango native to India, but now widespread.

It's a blend of botany, political science, and human societies.

Haven't finished book yet, but looking forward to the other chapters.

Back from a week off. And doing my favorite AM thing. Harvesting flowers. These are for an order tomorrow. Happy Friday! Flowers on porch. The Bridgerton themed weekend. So fun to okay with these dreamy romantic floral ideas. And built a few succulents in water vases. I love these, they stay for a while, you can plant the succulents, AND those flowers come from the succulents as well. So far, the proch/driveway thing has been going well. I love being able to offer self-serve florals to other flower-lovers.
