This was a task! An Extra Extra large star ordered for a quince in Hollister. It had to be put together outside and dressed outside and stored in one of our connex. Biggest star we’ve made yet was as large as the height of the store. The best of the best, serving the San Jose and bay area since 1986. Your favorite piñata people👊

A little update on our three students from The Adult Transition or ATP. Jose and I have been seeing such an incredible growth in our three students. We only have them twice a week for a few hours they’ve been absorbing and taking in what we’ve been working on with them. Working on taking initiative as they all three take an initiative as each one knows what tasks need to be done when they start the day here, without us having to tell them anymore. We’ve also gone over time management as they all need to know what time they need to leave to take the city transit and need to clean up after themselves and their work area clean and ready for the next person when getting ready to leave. Working on teaching them to be respectful and to always put a 100% while at work with us or when they eventually get to their next job. I hope we’ve made an impact on their lives as they’ve made an impact on ours! 🥹

On this International Woman’s Day, I want to wish the most important woman in my life a wonderful 90th Birthday. ❤️
My mother is battling the end stages of dementia and has shown how strong she is to all of us. Thank you mom for making me the strong woman I am today, because of you I am the compassionate, loving, strong, supportive hard working woman and will continue to make you proud. Thank you for being the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother and showing us all your love always. Te quiero mucho mi chaparrita hermosa 🥹❤️

It has been one full year since we made a decision to let go of all employees,
full time/part time, mainly due to the high cost of minimum wage, (which really hurts small businesses) and I get it, you can’t possibly make it here living off minimum wage and of course good old inflation has kicked us in the ass, as everything has gone up in cost. Not to mention we are still recovering from the pandemic.
What I want to say is, I personally want to thank each and every one of you who in some way has supported us through this last year. It’s definitely been a challenge and yes we are tired but fighting through it because we know better things are coming. We’ve had to make adjustments to how we run the shop and limit the amount of custom orders we can take a week as it’s just the two of us running the shop 7 days a week. Thank you to all who’ve been so kind and understanding as we’ve been adjusting to making this the best little piñata shop in town. ❤️
We are excited and have lots of new plans for this year and will keep working hard to please you all. We’re not done yet, over 35 years and counting and as always please please remember to always support your local small businesses new and old, because they truly are the backbone of the community. Much love to my community and thank you! ❤️🙏
