Does your lodge have QR codes in the social quarters to encourage members to get their membership card(s) on their phone? Or how about connecting to the lodges WIFI, signing up for a special event, or doing a fundraiser? Finally, how about using it as a marketing tool as our Burlington Lodge #1618 did with our minor league baseball team the Vermont Lake Monsters.

On January 8, 2025 in the early hours of the morning, our Mentone Lodge 1335 caught fire and burned out of control.
Even with Fire Department quick response and aided by First Responders, due to the high winds and hazardous conditions of downed power lines all efforts to save the Lodge were futile and in
that hopeless situation all the Administrator and some of the Lodge Members could do was watch as their Fraternal Home and place of many happy memories burned out of control to a total loss. NOTHING WAS LEFT!!!
To the Members that worked so hard over the years to expand, improve, and maintain the Lodge nothing could prepare them for the horror that unfolded before them. Yes there is Insurance and yes there is a future, but how can one face the tragedy that is before us. Yes I say us because it is with our condolences our thoughtful words and hopefully charitable acts that they may rise again out of the ashes as a Phoenix of great symbol to our Fraternal Organization.
I ask of all of you to reach out, help if you can, be a part of what happens next. What of the Members of this strong Lodge?...they gathered in great number on that very afternoon and started to work to immediately plan, to improvise, to overcome and ….GO FORWARD!!!!
Let their courage, their devotion, and their tireless physical toil be an inspiration and once again let’s be a part of their upcoming success in rebuilding their Lodge!!!
