🎂🎂🍷🍷🎶🥰

Yesterday I got to celebrate my birthday in the most perfect way with my family. After spending the morning reading the Bible and singing the Gospel with my wife, I reflected on my life and the blessings I am so lucky to have.

In the evening my family and I ate at a restaurant that I hold dear to my heart. My wife and I have been eating at Steamers for over 30 years now. Each time we go there I feel an incredible sense of nostalgia. We’ve come for many important milestones and evenings, celebrating and sharing a meal with many special people over the years. I remember bringing my father, my kids all through growing up, and many close friends.

Each time we eat here we’ve had the same server, Bill. He has become a pillar of this restaurant, and the experience wouldn’t feel complete without him. It’s always a wonderful time with Bill serving delicious food and surrounded by loved ones.

Afterwards my sons had the family over for some cake and gifts. My son Mike drew a beautiful card the depicts all the major milestones from my life in California, and the gifts were all incredibly thoughtful and coordinated.

Yesterday was a day full of happiness and fulfillment. I am always so grateful and lucky to have such a loving and beautiful family, and everyday thank the Lord for the blessings in my life.

To finish off our weekend of events we had the pleasure of working with dear friends to put on their wedding ceremony. Patrick and Sonia hosted a beautiful ceremony for their guests at their home.

Patrick and his family have been close to our family for many years. He went to high school with my children, and his father was a teacher at their high school. We have previously hosted the wedding for his brother as well.

We felt so grateful and excited to get to be apart of their special day, and were excited to host their families and guests. The event was so intimate and beautiful. Smiles, laughs, and toasts echoed through their backyard, and it was amazing to see familiar faces and smiles.

We wish the very best to this beautiful young couple on their next steps in marriage, and we know their life will be full of blessings and guidance from Jesus.

The first event over this past weekend was a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Pearl in San Francisco. Zara & Richard are such a wonderful couple who’s compassion and excitement were infectious. After a heart warming ceremony, they celebrated with their guests late into the night.

The evening was full of laughter, dancing, and cheers and it was so wonderful to see such a joyous group sharing memories. We felt so appreciative of all the guests who shared kind words of praise about our food and staff, and made all of us at the Michi team feel so welcomed.

We wish Zara & Richard the very best moving forward, and will cherish the memories we made through the process of working with them.

We ended this week with a gorgeous ceremony for this lovely couple and their guests in Saratoga. Alvin & Michelle celebrated their marriage with a huge group of loved ones at one of the stunning venues in Saratoga Springs.

The night was so fun to be apart of. Lots of space to enjoy the venue with activities, food stations, and dancing. The guests were enjoying themselves extensively, and the evening air echoed with laughter and cheering.

We had an amazing time working with this couple and their families, and truly hope their next steps together in their journey are full of smiles and love.

We want to say a huge thank you to the multiple teams of people who all collaborated to make this event so special.

On Friday we hosted a wonderful retirement party at Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside. It was a lovely fall evening for the guests to enjoy stunning views, exquisite wine, and delicious food.

This event was cozy and full of love as we got to hear speeches from everyone who attended. Lots of moving words spoken of fond memories and great stories about their colleague who is moving on to enjoy his retirement after a long career devoted to making this world a better place.

It was an honor to be a part of this special milestone, and we enjoyed the time we got to spend with our guests extensively.

Over the weekend we hosted a beautiful wedding ceremony for this lovely couple at Hakone Gardens. It was a beautiful fall day full of color and excitement.

Diane & Dennis along with their wedding party we’re so kind and grateful, celebrating their union with lots of laughs, delicious food, and wonderful cultural elements.

Since the beginning of this year we have hosted almost 70 weddings and are so incredibly appreciative of the amazing community we have made. We thank Jesus for all of his blessings and love, and ask him to watch over this wonderful couple in their next journey together.

We have been serving our signature homemade Michi Miso Dressing for over 33 years, and are very excited to announce that we will be able to bring the flavors of Michi to your home very soon!

Over the weekend we had the most wonderful time hosting the celebration for this amazing couple at The Pearl in San Francisco. The evening was magical. Julie and Peter celebrated their special day with family and friends who all contributed to the amazing atmosphere.

The wedding party was lively and full of joy, dancing and laughing after heartfelt speeches and a beautiful ceremony. We heard amazing reviews of how delicious the food was, and felt so grateful to be apart of such a momentous day.

Last week we hosted a corporate dinner for Buisness Booster who were hosting colleagues and friends from Taiwan. It was a wonderful evening full of celebration, food, and wine.

Buisness Booster had planned the weekend to be full of informative activities and workshops that stimulated buisness for everyone involved, and opened doors for collaboration between people across the world.

This event was very exciting to be apart of, and we are always grateful for the opportunities we have to work with such diverse clientele.

Last week we had the opportunity to cater an remarkable event for some special clients. The evening was hosted at the home of an amazing couple who are on the board of Trustees at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.

In addition to the astounding guests and venue, Bvlgari was invited to display a stunning collection of theirs throughout the evening. As an Asian-owned business ourselves, we felt so proud to work with people who showed such strong commitment to promoting and sharing Asian Art and Culture.

The venue was breath-taking as always, with fresh mountain air, stunning views, and wonderful ambiance. We had such a great time at this event and am so grateful to work with such amazing people.

This week we had the wonderful opportunity to host a lunch event with Ridge Winery for a group from Otsuka. Employees from around the world attended a beautiful day that included a wine tasting and tour, a cocktail hour, along with a 3 course platted lunch.

Everyone who attended were incredibly kind and excited, and it was a wonderful experience to share our food and service with them. The energy at the event was uplifted and happy, and we got many amazing compliments on our food which always puts smiles on our faces. As Otsuka is a company based in Japan, the compliments on our sashimi were especially great to hear.

We always love hosting events with our partners at Ridge, and had a wonderful time catching up with friends and colleagues throughout the day.

On Saturday we hosted a beautiful wedding event for this lovely couple. Ziqi and Bradley celebrated at the majestic Thomas Fogarty Winery with their friends and family.

It was a perfect day. Stunning views, warm sunshine, and lush green views surrounded the party throughout the evening. The guests all participated in lots of laughing, eating, dancing, and cheering as the party continued into the night.

Everyone was so excited and happy to be there, and along with the amazing event staff who helped us plan this event, the night went perfectly. Once again an event like this shows us the true beauty of our work, and being able to see and feel the joy we help bring is always such a special experience.
