Two years ago, my sons and I had the pleasure of meeting with 김유진사부님 after he invited us to an amazing restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. We had an amazing time meeting in person together.

At the end of 2024 my family and I went to Maui to enjoy a vacation together after all of our Events from 2024. I was having high-end champagne and whiskey on our gorgeous and luxurious vacation.

While on vacation I read Famous again.

Mr. Kim’s books will bring anyone who learns from them to this life also.

Mr. Kim, congratulations on all of your books reaching the best-sellers list.

Today we hosted the most wonderful lunch for the senior staff members at Montalvo Arts Center & Villa. As we were recently added to their vendor list, we look forward to hosting many more events at this beautiful venue for our guests and Michi Family.

We have been hoping to start our relationship with the amazing people at Montalvo for over 18 years, and to be added to their list is a dream come true.

In addition to the magnificent venue itself, we met such wonderful people and shared our delicious Michi cuisine with them all.

My family prepared each dish homemade and all joined together to be apart of this special day. We thank everyone who attended, the team at Montalvo who made this dream a reality, and our Michi staff who did an amazing job putting on the event.

We look forward to a wonderful relationship with Montalvo in the future, and are so grateful for the opportunities we have.

The first event of 2025 for our team was a wonderful exhibition of art displaying the works of Kota Ezawa. He displayed his work at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture located across from the Golden Gate Bridge in a beautiful park well-known by many.

We had a wonderful time serving sushi and appetizers as well as enjoying the magnificent art on display, and the amazing views all around.

We thank our team and everyone who contributed to such a fantastic event.

This year we finished off our events with a beautiful holiday celebration that has become a tradition for us at Michi.

We helped Christine and Sam host a wonderful dinner at their home for family and friends, and enjoyed the festive cheer in great company.

The evening was full of delicious food, holiday spirit, and lots of love.

Last week we hosted a wonderful holiday dinner party in Monte Sereno. This was a very intimate event that allowed us to share the festive cheer with a family and their guests with a delicious course meal and bites to eat.

As our event season winds down for this year we are incredibly grateful to be able to reflect and share holiday spirit through holiday parties and dinners. Thank you to all of our guests who made us feel at home and loved as we get to share time and memories with each party we serve.

Yesterday we had an amazing time hosting a wonderful holiday party for our friends at Lifetime Surgical. We have a long relationship with our friends Dr. Richard and his wife Michelle.

They have been long term customers of ours who used to come to our sushi restaurant regularly when they were dating. To be able to continue our relationship and friendship throughout the years has truly been a blessing.

To remember when they started coming on dates to our restaurant, and to now be married and have two beautiful children and a third on the way, we are so proud and happy for them.

This year has been a amazing year for them as a buisness as well as a family, with exciting new endeavors in the works and a new baby on the way. We are always so grateful for the time w get to spend together.

This event was a wonderful way to celebrate all of the blessings in our lives, and we look forward to a beautiful 2025!

This week we had the wonderful opportunity to host a holiday event for the amazing employees at Moloco.

Being a Korean-owned buisness we are always extremely proud of other Korean-owned buisness. Moloco has done amazing work in the tech space, and we were so excited to share our cultural heirtage and food with them.

The guests enjoyed their evening full of delicious food and beverages, and had a lot of energy while migling and playing some fun games.

Maui Family Trip 2024

🌺🌺🌴🏝️🏝️🐠🐟❤️🙏

Last week my family and I spent a week in Maui with our family from Korea. My wife Hope’s brother, sister, & sister in law, met us there to spend their first family vacation together in 36 years.

This trip was truly a blessing from God as we were able to share such beautiful experiences together with loved ones from across the world.

My wife Hope has been so excited for weeks leading up to this trip and it was truly a joy to watch her able able to share such special moments with her siblings in an amazing location.

We are so grateful to be able to share experiences like this with our loved ones and will cherish the moments and memories together for the rest of our lives.

Thanksgiving Day 2024

Every year Thanksgiving is a blessing from Jesus to our family.

This year I felt extremely blessed and touched by God for all of the amazing people in my life. I am so grateful for my family, for our buisness and the wonderful people we have at the Michi Team, and for all of the opportunities and time with loved ones.

We had a beautiful dinner prepared by everyone in my family together, and spent the afternoon rejoicing and sharing wonderful moments and memories.

I am so thankful that everyone in my family has their health and happiness, and special gifts from our Lord.

Over the weekend we hosted the last wedding of the year with a wonderful couple in San Jose. Katherine and Eugene celebrated their marriage with their amazing loved ones in a beautiful ceremony.

Hosted at Blanco, everyone had an amazing time. We were so happy to see smiling faces, to watch the guests enjoy wonderful food, and hear the joy and laughter throughout the evening.

The lovely young couple were so gracious and welcoming, and we truly appreciate the kindness and care that was shown to our staff throughout the event. We hope Katherine and Eugene keep the love and smiles we saw in their hearts throughout their marriage.

This year at Michi we were blessed with the opportunity to host over 70 weddings, and we are so grateful and appreciative of all the new connections we have made. Having the opportunity to work with so many new amazing people is something we truly cherish and appreciate, and we hope everyone who has become apart of our family feels the same.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful wedding ceremony for Rony & Alexandra. It was a wonderful fall day at Hakone with sunshine, vibrant fall colors, and a heartwarming ceremony.

Rony & Alexandra hosted an intimate gathering with family who all shared wonderful smiles and warm hearts. We truly felt the amazing love and happiness that the couple shared with their guests, and felt so grateful to be apart of their special day.

Yesterday I got to celebrate my birthday in the most perfect way with my family. After spending the morning reading the Bible and singing the Gospel with my wife, I reflected on my life and the blessings I am so lucky to have.

In the evening my family and I ate at a restaurant that I hold dear to my heart. My wife and I have been eating at Steamers for over 30 years now. Each time we go there I feel an incredible sense of nostalgia. We’ve come for many important milestones and evenings, celebrating and sharing a meal with many special people over the years. I remember bringing my father, my kids all through growing up, and many close friends.

Each time we eat here we’ve had the same server, Bill. He has become a pillar of this restaurant, and the experience wouldn’t feel complete without him. It’s always a wonderful time with Bill serving delicious food and surrounded by loved ones.

Afterwards my sons had the family over for some cake and gifts. My son Mike drew a beautiful card the depicts all the major milestones from my life in California, and the gifts were all incredibly thoughtful and coordinated.

Yesterday was a day full of happiness and fulfillment. I am always so grateful and lucky to have such a loving and beautiful family, and everyday thank the Lord for the blessings in my life.

To finish off our weekend of events we had the pleasure of working with dear friends to put on their wedding ceremony. Patrick and Sonia hosted a beautiful ceremony for their guests at their home.

Patrick and his family have been close to our family for many years. He went to high school with my children, and his father was a teacher at their high school. We have previously hosted the wedding for his brother as well.

We felt so grateful and excited to get to be apart of their special day, and were excited to host their families and guests. The event was so intimate and beautiful. Smiles, laughs, and toasts echoed through their backyard, and it was amazing to see familiar faces and smiles.

We wish the very best to this beautiful young couple on their next steps in marriage, and we know their life will be full of blessings and guidance from Jesus.

The first event over this past weekend was a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Pearl in San Francisco. Zara & Richard are such a wonderful couple who’s compassion and excitement were infectious. After a heart warming ceremony, they celebrated with their guests late into the night.

The evening was full of laughter, dancing, and cheers and it was so wonderful to see such a joyous group sharing memories. We felt so appreciative of all the guests who shared kind words of praise about our food and staff, and made all of us at the Michi team feel so welcomed.

We wish Zara & Richard the very best moving forward, and will cherish the memories we made through the process of working with them.
