We have taken all the feedback in the comments on all our social media accounts and we have partnered up with we are opening up 5 slots for finished helmets. Cost will starting at $385 for a finished Resin helmet and will take approx 2 months completion of the helmet. Lately I've been getting a lot of questions about PLA (FDM printing) kits and Resin kits. Some of the main questions i get is about quality, ease of use, and cost. While getting a PLA print is more cost-effective up front. The cost in materials needed to finish the kits are greater. For the reason why resin kits cost more than PLA is also the cost of resin is also higher, but both mediums have their positives and negatives. For PLA you will be putting in more work to Fill in layer lines and get it as smooth as possible. There can also be some lost in detail. For resin not as much post processing is needed and it holds detail much better than PLA. For Power Rangers Resin gives it more of that authentic feeling like in the show. PLA helmets are lighter so it wont be as much weight on head. Resin helmets are more dense and heavier. I have posted a picture showing how PLA (FDM printing) and resin Compare visually, but it comes down to preference. I know that I offer both that helps tie into anyone's budget.
