We were so happy to meet Allison and Andrew for their menu tasting as they plan their June 2025 wedding at the beautiful in Templeton. It’s such a gorgeous venue, and we can’t wait to be part of their special day!

Here’s a bit about their journey, shared by Allison:

“We met in 2016 as juniors at San Diego State University. Both of us were psychology majors and ended up taking all our classes together. After graduation, I pursued a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, while Andrew took a different path into Private Equity.

We’ve been together for eight amazing years and love living in the South Bay, where we’re just a short walk from the beach. We got engaged in December 2023 while traveling in Thailand—a fun full-circle moment since our first date was eating Thai food in the bed of Andrew’s truck at the beach.” ❤️

Popolo Catering was on-site for 🍷Monday Nights at Stellar’s Cellar, where everyone has been taking turns cooking for the crowd. If you know Papa Popolo, you know cooking for others is his passion—so Leon stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park! 💯 He loved preparing his menu and cooking each dish to order for our guests.

The night featured a delicious pasta bar with seasonal sautéed veggies and garlic-buttered French bread.

This is a job within a well-established family owned and operated catering company of 19 years. Our goal is to create delicious food and support our clients with service surrounding a variety of catered events from full-service, casual, delivery and pick-up. Join a group of hardworking team members who enjoy interaction with people and love our career field in the hospitality industry.

As the Logistics Coordinator duties may include but are not limited to:

*Organizing, loading, and unloading catering trailers, trucks, and vans for multiple events
*Maintenance and inventory of company equipment and vehicles
*Dishwashing essential to support equipment and event turnaround
*Warehouse & kitchen maintenance and organization
*Excellent verbal and written communication required
*Basic computer skills helpful
*Ability to learn Popolo Catering procedures and protocols
*Collaborate with head chef for duties and assignments
*Support catered events off-site and on-site
*Requires high level integrity with independent job responsibility ex*****on

The position is part-time with the possibility of full-time, for the next catering season.

Candidate must possess & embrace:
1. Valid driver’s license
2. Be insurable to drive company vehicles
3. Reliable transportation
4. Dependability
5. Weekend availability

Kaycie and Broderick didn’t waste any time locking in their catering vendor! During their menu tasting and consultation, they booked Popolo Catering on the spot! These two are planning a stunning June 2025 celebration with 200 VIP guests at

Broderick moved to the area from Fort Bragg as a child, while Kaycie grew up in San Luis Obispo. They’ve known each other since middle school and started dating as high school sophomores. Now, they’re ready to say “I do,” and we’re so thrilled to be part of their big day!

Mark and Kathreece will say “I Do” at the breathtaking in San Luis Obispo in May 2025! They’re busy and excited as they make all their incredible wedding plans. Kat’s wonderful parents joined them for the menu tasting, bringing warmth and support to the experience.

Mark and Kat first met as kids through a cousin who was their neighbor, spending afternoons riding scooters together after school. Though they drifted into different friend groups in high school, they reconnected in college when Mark invited Kat out for food—and they’ve been sharing meals ever since!

Mark is a mechanical engineer working as a design engineer for a plumbing construction company, while Kat is a dedicated athletic trainer at a high school, loving both her work and her students.

Congratulations to Kathreece and Mark! We’re honored to be a part of your special day! #
