It's dress-up week at Central Coast Gymnastics, and your coaches can't wait to see what you're going to be for Halloween!

Starting Friday, 10/25, students may come to class in a costume. Please remember that hoods, capes, and shoes are not safe for gymnastics, so please leave those off the gym floor. Also, please no scary costumes, because Coach Renato gets scared very easily.

COACH SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Nikita is one of our recreational and team T&T coaches! She is a 4th year at Cal Poly and is studying biomedical engineering. She competed in Artistic Gymnastics for 5 years and in T&T for 8 years until 2023. She went to Nationals for T&T 4 times, and in her last season, was a Level 10 Open Elite on Trampoline. Nikita's calm and effective coaching technique helps our athletes achieve their full potential. We feel so lucky to have Nikita here at CCG!

COACH SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Coach Emma is one of our Cheer Team coaches at CCG! She is from Colorado, but now lives in SLO with her 2 dogs for school. She did Allstar cheer at Steele Athletics and Peak Athletics in Denver for 11 years and 2 years on Cal Poly’s Cheer and Stunt team. She has competed at the Cheerleading Worlds 3 times, and is a 2023 College Club Stunt National Champion and First Team All American. She is in her 4th year of studying architecture at Cal Poly. We feel so lucky to have her here at CCG coaching our Cheer Teams! She is positive & energetic that is amazing at helping her athletes feel and achieve success! We love coach Emma!

COACH SPOTLIGHT🌟
Coach Lucy has been going to Central Coast Gymnastics since she was four years old. She started in girls’ gymnastics then switched to acrobatic gymnastics, where she competed for seven years and placed first at two national championships. She has competed a base, top, and mid. Lucy currently coaches acro, girls rec, and preschool. We feel so lucky to have Lucy's expertise and love of the sport on our staff! When she’s not coaching, Lucy likes to bake, read, and hike. We love Coach Lucy!

COACH SPOTLIGHT🌟
Coach Peter is currently a level 10 boys’ gymnast at CCG in his 10th year competing! He started gymnastics at CCG when he was 5 and started competing when he was 7. His favorite event is floor. Coach Peter is in his second year coaching for us at CCG and coaches the Boys Recreational and Team groups. He is wonderful at creating a calm, fun and successful environment for his kiddos. We love Coach Peter! Also, we cannot get over these baby Peter photos 😱

COACH SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Coach Chloe is a third year at Cal Poly and is in her second year coaching at CCG! She started gymnastics when she was around 3, but started competing Xcel around 9. She stopped Xcel at 14 and started doing cheer and stunt in high school. In high school, she also coached gymnastics. She has been a fantastic addition to our team, bringing knowledge of gymnastics, love for working with kids and expertise at helping kids succeed! We love Coach Chloe!
