After 30 years of writing and performing some of gospel's top charting songs such as, “God ‘s Gotta A Blessing With Your Name on It, “Jesus I Love You,” “Emmanuel,” and “Battlefield” and “Just In Time,” we are blessed to have him perform in San Mateo at Music on Mack Family Way! 3-6 PM, 229 North Grant Street. What a wonderful time we had this past Sunday!! We had Rick Vandivier on Guitar, Nate Pruitt on Vocals aka Primary Colors along with Jeff Buenz on Bass! It was a beautiful, music filled Sunday afternoon!! This was the last one of the season, and we hope to see you all next year!

What a way to spend a Sunday! Erika Paul – Jazz Artist & Music Specialist holds an A.A. degree in Music from College of San Mateo (CSM), a B.A. degree in Jazz Performing from San Jose State University (SJSU), is a BMI artist, Harry Fox publisher, AFM and NMPA member and is that rare career music artist that elegantly balances music performance, teaching, songwriting and recording, finding herself equally comfortable as not only being supportive as a sideman, but also as a bandleader, teacher and self-published independent “indie” recording artist.

Erika enjoys performing locally as well as nationally and internationally, as a soloist and in small combos up to full 17-piece big bands, she’s extremely comfortable reading arranged charts as well as soloing on both piano and vocals, loves teaching private piano, voice and guitar, giving clinics and masterclasses, writing and recording in the prolific way original indie artists often do. All her physical, digital and streaming album work is available online worldwide and everywhere.

It is with a heavy heart that the Mack Family announces that we have lost our amazing patriarch. He was a Husband, a Father, and Uncle, a Cousin, War Hero, and Champion, and so much more! We are grateful for the time we had with him and as for you love and support during this sensitive time. What a way to spend a Sunday! September 25th we had a pending promotion celebration for Col. Antoinette Gant to Brigadier General and what an event it was! We would like to thank Tony Lindsay World Renowned Singer of Santana, Julio Reyes, Janice Maxie Reid, Karen Hutchinson for getting together the drummers as well as the drummers Stacy Carter, Ms All World Beauties Elite U.S. and The San Mateo Elks Lodge for making this such a momentous occasion! By the way all of the pictures that you see on the fence are photos of our Mack, Cullen, Garrett Family members who have or still are serving In the military.
