Been meaning to share how exciting it was for the Local Production's crew to assist with the production for the October 2023 First Light Celebration of the superconducting-accelerator-powered Linac Coherent Light Source II (LCLS-II) project at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory with U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm.

The Local productions team provided audio, stage lighting, camera/recording/IMAG, video playback/switching, moon balloons, mobile power, uplighting, cable distribution/ramps, and other AV equipment for the celebration. Special thanks to Gino, Ezra, and Rielly who operated the event alongside me, as well as Large Screen Video for their fantastic video wall setup, and the many collaborators from multiple departments at both Stanford University and SLAC who planned and put this event togehter.

It was an honor for the Local Production’s Team to provide audio for a discussion featuring the President of the Republic of Korea, the Prime Minister of Japan, and some well known Silicon Valley CEO’s back in November at Stanford during the culmination of APEC events for 2023.

Congrats to the Class of 2024! Local Productions had the pleasure of providing audio and live streaming at Jr. High and High School graduation ceremonies in late May. We also worked 6 graduation events at Stanford University where we provided audio for 5 graduation ceremonies on June 16, with degrees levels ranging from Bachelor’s to PhD. Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Summer!
