SPAM Email Inquiry:

I was really tempted to reply to this email after reading it. It looked like a real request for my DJ services. It didn't have the usual spelling or language mistakes that previous versions had.

But, when I received the identical message 3 times with the same date, from a different name\email address.

A.I. is making these sneaky people better all the time. As event professionals we need to be careful.

The After Event Debrief...

I LOVE a good debrief after an event. Discussing the highs, lows, wins and woes, always leads to better shows!

This weekend's 3 day business event has been a great experience. Friday was good, Saturday was better, and Sunday will be the best.

I've already learned something Saturday that I want to share:

Typically I use my personal Verizon WIFI device (not my phone but a dedicated WIFI source). It's a connection just for me, I don't share the link. So, it's not affected by too many guests jumping on the local connection.

However, with my multiple computers, Zoom, and a limited audience, I decided to use the local connection.

It was fine Friday, but Saturday there was a drop, and we were down for 15 minutes.

If I had my WIFI device on when the internet went down my computers would have jumped to the familiar connection limiting the downtime.

Lesson Learned. [Smile]

Criticism… Be True to YOU!

People will criticize you for what you are, are not, and what they think you are.

They will judge you for what you do, don't do, and fail to do.

They will talk about you for what you say and keep silent about.

They will point at your successes and mistakes, your decisions and your doubts.

No matter how much you try to please “them”, there will always be opinions.

There is no pleasing “them” or “they”, so pay no mind to what they say, and simply live life your way.
