KFR and AI--- This might make me Crazy!
KNOLLE FARM & RANCH Is Definitely ALIVE, WELL, & STRONGER THAN EVER! .(But, NOT in the area of "AI" & Computer wizardry!)
People have asked recently if we are still in business, as our social media "radar screen" has been pretty void. This is definitely NOT the case, & It has been a busy summer of parties, hosting guests, & preparing for a wonderful fall of weddings, hunting, birding, & lots more.
BUT, I must admit that I have spent weeks feeling like I am wandering in circles whenever I attempted to figure out what seem to be all new formats, rules/ policies on everything from google to social media. Seemingly we are governed by "AI", our new "personal assistant", revised "analytics", "optimization", & a vocabulary which sounds like a foreign language to me!
Now, any of you who know me also know that I am a "doer", multi-tasker, thriving on creativity, outdoors, foods, etc,; but, NOT one who enjoys patiently sifting through computer jargon. I am embarrassed to admit that for the longest time I couldn't figure out who "Al" was when I would see the capital letters "AI"! Was he friend or foe, & who was this control freak who wanted to tell me what to write, how, what photos to use, size, etc.? Why was "Al" suddenly running my life, & had invaded my phone & computer? I eventually realized the mystery "Al" was, "Al" being Artificial Intelligence, & that Facebook, Instagram, etc. all needed to keep up with TikTok. Ugh! They preferred "reels" over traditional posts, & I spent hours unsuccessfully attempting to get these "creations" to load. No luck; so, I had to figure out an alternate way to create videos & put on social media, which is somewhat "successful", however, very rough, & definitely not up to "Al's" standards. In conclusion, "Al" is not my warm & cozy "friend"; but, I guess over time I will learn to live with him.

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!
As predicted, we pecked our way out of our shells soon after our daddy lost all his big tail feathers.. But, everyone at the ranch was too busy getting ready for Beryl to welcome us properly, plus we tried to hide if they tried. So... here is our "coming out" video, as we follow our mommy around as she teaches us all sorts of good things. .. We are learning how to eat bugs, flap our wings, flyi a little, peck at windows, & get to meet all the other farm animals. She told us we have to watch out for the BIG MEAN HAWK, but, we think our best friend, Hannah, the big dog, will protect us, as she loves everyone!
