Let's just say perhaps our whole life until today we were caterpillars! With our new challenges of life dealing with the Corona virus and our leaders decisions, our lives have changed. Who knows if and when our lives will return to our old normal. However, let us challenge one another to try a new life focused on God!

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

If we truly believe this, we will find God leading us to where He is guiding. Perhaps He is not gently guiding us allowing us so much free will. We all abused that free will and used it to replace Him and even forget Him, or even think we didn't need Him. Lord let us allow our time of social distancing to become time of awareness to include you in our lives and not distance you in the time we need you the most.

The best is yet to come, believe it and allow God to release the butterfly you were meant to be. Spread your wings and fly towards the heavens instead of living in the past, where we all chose to lessen our involvement with the one who made us!

To God be the glory and let us prepare not only for a better life on this earth, but eternal life as we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!

My wife's cucumber plant reminds me of Act 17:27
God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

This plant reached out, found a pole, clinged to it and continues to add extra wrap arounds to be firmly set.
Once we find God, do we wrap around Him to be firmly set? Or do we loosen our ties so we can be blown away to the next temptation far from Him?
It is amazing to me that a PLANT has intelligence enough to grow runners that can catch onto poles or shrubs and fasten themselves so the main plant can thrive.
Yet many humans are not wise enough to fasten themselves to Jesus Christ!

Central Furniture has moved to their new location where Goodwill used to be (probably a year ago...lol) .... but they continue to support Flowers by Daniel. What a beautiful store with great prices!

It's Sunday y'all.... time for me to preach a little bit!

John 8:12 English Standard Version (ESV)
I Am the Light of the World
12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Day or night, we believe God is with us, Jesus is with us, the Holy Spirit is with us.

Have you ever been in a one on one conversation with someone and walked away from them, while they were speaking and you didn't even look back or say a word? Probably not, because that would be rude. But yet my brothers and sisters, we do that very same thing thousands of times a day when we ignore God reaching out to us, through the light, the love, the warmth, the people..... the Holy Spirit,,,,, everything He sends into our lives.

Look and listen, for God is there reaching out to you, Jesus is there through the love of others, the Holy Spirit is IN you reaching out, and waiting for YOU to acknowledge them and SPEAK to them prayerfully. More importantly, LISTEN to them.

So you pray you say! Well do you sit prayerfully to hear HIS response ? Or do you pray and leave, just as you called Him to talk to you? So you said what YOU wanted to say, YOU told Him what you wanted. Now stop and listen for He WILL give you an answer and He will comfort you.

Love the Lord, as He loves you and let Him finish the conversation YOU started..... Amen!

Celebrating Easter thanking Jesus for dying for us! I make these for yard signs and they are two sided. Can be made as tall as 8 feet. The 4 foot tall ones are $85, and can be all white with purple painted cloth if you like.

My wife found out today that because my Grandbabies are sick, she needs to stay at the Lake House for a week! Her surgery is in a week so we don't want to take a chance that she might get sick and not be able to have her surgery. So I made her an arrangement for everyday that she will miss seeing her babies!
