2024 Exhibitor Guides were mailed this week to 2023 exhibitors! The Exhibitor Guide is also located online at sandwichfair.com/faireventschedule/exhibitors/
OR in the box outside the office door. Happy Exhibiting!

Entries can be submitted online, via the mail or dropped off in person using the drop box on the side of the building at the office. All entries are due by August 23, 2024.

SANDWICH FAIR NEWS ALERTS….
7/8….The online version of the exhibitor guide is now available for viewing on the Exhibitor Page. Online registration is now open thru August 23rd. Please visit the Exhibitor Page for all the details. Paper exhibitor guides will be mailed to exhibitors who exhibited last year by the end of the 2nd week of July. Exhibitor guides will also be available for pickup at the fair office in the tote by the front door by July 12th for exhibitors who did not exhibit last year. Exhibitor guides will be distributed to local libraries over the next few weeks to pick up there.

If you have a hobby such as cooking, sewing, woodcraft, art, photography, collecting, you could show off your talents and earn premiums (dollar payouts) for your work. The Sandwich Fair has premiums for hundreds of categories!

On June 10….An event called Hot Air America Balloon Festival scheduled for June 21, 22, and 23rd has been canceled and removed from the fairgrounds schedule (this notice was posted at that time on the fair website). The Hot America Event Planners have ceased operations and are providing no communications. If you have purchased anything from Hot Air America, be sure to dispute the charge with your credit card company.

The Sandwich Fair Association is pleased to announce an inaugural Sandwich Fair event, the Shake Up Shuffle. The Shake Up Shuffle combines the tradition that our surrounding communities already know and love about our fair into an all new event, occurring on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024.

With two routes to choose from and special child pricing, we eagerly await the opportunity to welcome many fairgoers onto our grounds just two days before opening ceremonies.

Our BIG SQUEEZE route is our full Shake Up Shuffle 5K course through The Sandwich Fairgrounds.

Our LITTLE SQUEEZE route is our partial 5K course, totaling one mile through the Sandwich Fairgrounds.

And finally, our PIP SQUEEZE option includes special pricing for participants five and under on either course.

Both routes will begin on our infield track, progress through our iconic grounds, and end in our infield, where participants will be met with a fun and upbeat atmosphere including music, mega yard games, and appearances from businesses that they know and love.

Following the event, Shake Up Shuffle participants will receive top finisher awards, food items, and you guessed it, an ICED COLD lemonade shake up. All participants will additionally receive an inaugural Shake Up Shuffle shirt, a timed race bib and finishers results, and a collectible Sandwich Fair finishers medal. Those choosing our Big Squeeze route will furthermore receive (DRUM ROLL PLEASE)

A FIVE DAY SANDWICH FAIR SEASON PASS.

But wait, there’s MORE. We’ll also be giving out Shake Up Shuffle swag bags to the first two hundred Big Squeeze and Little Squeeze registrations.

AND, in case we don’t already have you dreaming about lemons, we’re offering our Big Squeeze route at a discounted rate from now until May 4, 2024, with our first price increases occurring on May 5, 2024.

Whether you run it, walk it, shake it, or shuffle it, we just can’t wait to see you there.

All proceeds from the 2024 Shake Up Shuffle will benefit the DeKalb County Community Fund.

FFA Petting Zoo presented by the “Zoo Crew” from our local FFA chapters and A to Z Fair Fun. This area is located on the west side of the fair grounds and perfect for kids of all ages.
