👑Get to know our 2024 Miss Sanford💞

Elizabeth (Liz) Stoneburner is a 2023 graduate of Meridian High School and was also a participant of Meridian’s Fifth Year Program in 2024. Next year she is planning to attend either Wayne State University or Central Michigan University; considering Mortuary Science or Elementary Education. She enjoys spending time with friends and attending concerts. Liz has competed in the pageant all three years; winning the 2nd runner up award in 2023, and not only did she earn the title of Miss Sanford 2024, she also took home the Spirit Award, voted on by her fellow contestants. For her talent portion of the competition, Liz performed a mellophone solo year one, a flute solo year two, and in year three, performed a monologue on career choices; winning her the Talent Award. Fun Facts: Liz’s favorite color is any shade of pink. Along with playing the flute and mellophone, she also plays the French horn. Starting in 7th grade, she participated in many on stage performances and plays, including playing Yvette in the production of Clue. So far, during her year reign, she has enjoyed participating in the parades; stating that it’s been such a great way to meet and interact with so many people! Liz is such a bright light and we have enjoyed every minute of her being Miss Sanford 2024! She looks forward to spending time with the 2025 contestants and crowning Miss Sanford 2025 in June.

👑Get to know our 2024 Miss Sanford Teen💚

Bayleigh Finney is a Sophomore at Meridian High School with a 4.0 gpa. She is quite a busy gal participating in cross country, track, softball, band, and student council. She loves hanging out with friends and her dogs, Diesel & Vinney. She’s competed in the pageant all three years; taking home the 2nd runner up award in 2023. For the talent portion of the competition, she performed monologues on adoption (one child policy) year one, and three and year two, a monologue on the evolution of shih tzu dogs. Fun facts: Bayleigh’s favorite color is green, she loves eating at Qdoba, and grabbing an iced matcha latte at Starbucks. The favorite part of her year reign, so far, has been the opportunity to participate in so many different events, allowing her to meet so many people. She looks forward to crowning the 2025 Miss Sanford Teen in June of 2025. We couldn’t be more proud of Bayleigh.
