As I'm sitting here riding home from the beach .... I think of what a blessing my family is to me.
Yesterday as we were sitting on the beach together this time 10 years ago we were gathered around Payton's Hospital bed preparing for her to go home and be with the Lord, as Payton passed and we lined up like a family a pulled her through the basement hallways of UNC to the car waiting for her to carry her to the funeral home, emotions were everywhere from all of us we made to our vehicle to head to Walmart YES to buy her sister MaKenzie a Birthday cake to celebrate her birth with Smiles we let MacKenzie know the love we all had for her as all of our hearts were broken from the loss of Payton on the same day.
Yesterday we celebrated MaKenzie Birthday with the Beach, lots of laughs and cupcakes
We still have tickets for the Plate Sale
We are collecting toys for UNC Children's because they were so wonderful to Payton on of her favorite thing to do was be ravished with toys while in house. It is our way to heal every year at this time every year.
