A confidential marriage license is a sealed record where the public cannot get a copy of your marriage certificate, nor do you need to produce witnesses (unlike the public license). Especially if you’re a high profile person, work in law enforcement, have baby mama drama or simply want to conceal your personal info, I recommend to ask for this license at the Clerk’s office versus the public one.
