Hi! For those that know me HIYAAAA! For the newbies.. I’m Darleen and I’ve been doing balloons since 2019. ( that’s me next to my most recent balloon install) 🙋🏽♀️and i love working with balloons!
I’ve been up and down all over OC and even LA sometimes.. and even as far as the IE. i love everything about birthdays.. baby shower and even weddings! I’m the loudest person you’ll meet ( i laugh pretty loud) but also the most down to earth person you’d come across.
One of my balloon goals is to open up a balloon store in OC, but for the time being, i set up in my studio.

I’ve posted a lot about my work with but I’ve had the privilege of working with a few other super creative balloon artist since I’ve been on this balloon adventure.
A few months ago i was looking for an assistant to take under my wing to obviously help me on installs.. but to also mentor 🥰 because there’s a lot of business in the balloon business 🎈
, Letty came to me after she inquired about me needing an assistant and the crazy thing is, i went to HS with her sister. Letty caught on super quick and was confident enough to go out on her own to install this garland for a friend of mine. She totally executed this job and made it look beyond words for my friend.

Sometimes it’s not easy blending two totally different characters into one panel.. but that’s where you have to get creative.. and this one was a challenge.. overall i think it came out amazing! 🥰

Fun Fact: my son is apart of the Boyscouts in Santa Ana Troop #132 for the past 3 years ( i think) and it’s been such an incredible journey seeing my kid grow into the person hes going to be.
They had their court of honors where the boys are presented with their badges and awards. We needed decorations so of course i offered my services.
A small garland lights up the room, no matter what size. 🎈

Mermaid Barbie was the theme 🧜♀️
When my client asked for a mermaid Barbie arch.. of course i tried to see how we can make this stand out and be different.. cuz it’s hard to stand out in the balloon world 🙈
This was supposed to be a traditional arch, but the arch decided to pop out of its nugget and that’s when me and my assistant decided that we were going to keep it non round arch.
So what turned out to be an accident.. worked in our favor. 😆
