Three days before Denise Pendergast and I went on our first date we had a conversation we had a conversation about writing songs. She said it would be cool if someday you wrote a song about me! It was 12/10/2019. My dad‘s birthday. I got out his bass, a 72 Fender Jazz, and garage band on my phone, created a loop and recorded base, piano and vocals. It came out pretty good. Last year I thought as a gift to Denise I would have it recorded and have a singer with a much nicer voice sing the song. I reached out to Brennan Benko who ended up producing this song with False Puppet performing it. This was special because False Puppet was the first band to go through Rockshop Academy. They did an amazing job. I sent it to my publisher and they Love it! They are looking for placements for the song already! The song is now available on all streaming platforms. Listen and enjoy!
