Public Announcement To Our Clients 5-17-2021
On May 10, 2021, the Los Angeles Superior Court ordered the Gardens of Paradise venue closed and barricaded based on Los Angeles County public health orders related to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. For over over 12 years, Gardens of Paradise has operated in the Agua Dulce community without any issues. Gardens of Paradise has been a fixture and integral part of the Agua Dulce community.

However, in late summer of 2020, some xenophobic neighbors started with making noise complaints, false Yelp reviews of "Middle-Eastern" and "Armenian music," and claims that events were being held in violation of COVID related public health orders. The County of Los Angeles brought suit against Gardens of Paradise on the same premises. And based on a dubious showing that events were still violating public health orders and other laws, the County was able to get emergency relief to barricade and shut down the venue. Gardens of Paradise has appealed the Court's order. But like everything else during these times, the Court of Appeal has not yet issued a case number and the speed in which the appeal will be heard is unclear.

In the interim, we are gladly working with our existing clients on a case by case basis . We are eagerly waiting for a response about our appeal.
