Meet the founder, Laura!

It all began with the abundance of joy I felt while working special events as a server and bartender for Viceroy Hotel Group in Beverly Hills. From there the passion and love only grew as I started working part time for multiple special event catering companies in the LA area.

Eventually my career would lead me to Maggiano's Little Italy as a banquet sales assistant. It was there when I truly experienced what it was like helping clients plan many different types of events; bridal/baby showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, and networking socials to name a few. Soon after joining the Maggiano’s team I had the pleasure of assisting three sisters in planning their parents fiftieth wedding anniversary. I got to recommend vendors, coordinate with them and help design the whole party; from custom cocktail napkins, to balloons, to the welcome table display, as well as the evening's timeline. My clients and their parents were so thankful and happy about how everything turned out that night, they couldn't thank our team enough. The sense of pride I had seeing and hearing how everything went that evening was something I had never really experienced at a job before. Little did I know, that was just the beginning, and the pivotal moment in my life where I didn’t quite realize that I had found my true calling.

One fateful night a few years later I was at a wedding and saw the coordinators running around working their magic. "I want to do that," I thought to myself. Instead of just wanting and wishing, I took a chance and told the coordinators that I’d love to help them on future events. Needless to say, within the week I was hired as an assistant coordinator at Wish Wonder Dream, a very well known and respected company that was based in Pasadena. One year later the owner promoted me to a Principal Coordinator and Operations Manager!

It was during the years at Wish Wonder Dream that I learned so much from the owner, my fantastic colleagues and of course the amazing couples I had the privilege of working alongside- many of which are now friends and I still keep in touch with to this day!

I love seeing the joy on clients’ faces as they walk into a room and realize their vision has become a reality. These special events are an opportunity to celebrate the moments that mark a cherished time in your life. It's a time to laugh with friends and families, to cry at the start of a new beginning, and to reminisce on moments and memories past.

I thoroughly enjoy all types of events, but especially wedding celebrations! I truly treasure being a part of these special moments- the first time the groom sees his bride walking down the aisle; the mother seeing her daughter in her gorgeous wedding dress; the father proudly walking his little girl down the aisle to give her away to the man she loves - those are the moments that stop my heart.

With many years in the industry I’ve had the pleasure of designing, planning and catering hundreds of events. My experience ranges from weddings of all sizes, religions and traditions to corporate events, fundraisers, bar/bat mitzvahs and so much more.

When I’m not working and making dreams come true I enjoy spending time with my son (my “bug), traveling the world, and surrounding myself with family and amazing friends.

Giving back to the community and world is also very important to me! I have the pleasure of sitting on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, Single Mother's Outreach, where I am the 2019 co-chair for the biggest fundraising event of the year- the Empowering HeArts Gala. I’m also a member of Soroptomist International Greater Santa Clarita Valley and serve as a lead mentor for the "Dream it Be it" Program and I’m directing/coordinating the 2018 Soroptomist Fashion Show.

In October 2018, I’m excited and honored to say that I was selected as one of the Santa Clarita Valley’s 40 Under Forty Honorees.
