“Bloom’n Bless Florist” carries on a third generation of flower business. Esteban Hernandez, business founder, learned the craft from his father Herminio, which in turn, was passed on to him by his father Porfirio. Don Herminio taught his nine sons the trade of a florist. All nine have worked at or currently operate various flower shops in Zacapoaxtla, Puebla in Mexico, mostly known as “Florería H
ernandez”. The idea to start the flower business in Santa Clarita came unexpectedly. In June of 2016, Esteban got married. As a wedding present, his brothers made gorgeous lisanthium and lily arrangements for the wedding arch. The guests we so impressed that several of them suggested, “Why don’t you start your own flower business?” Esteban’s wife was thrilled with the idea: “And why not?” So she took upon herself to promote the start-up. A couple of months later, they made flower arrangements for their friends’ weddings. Both times their work was a big success! Flowers have blessed Esteban’s life and in a way even helped him to win his wife’s heart, for whose love he had prayed for several years.
