Sorry to all the people out at KOH for the rediculous price for ice this year. Unfortunately Athans Ice House couldn’t come to reasonable terms for us to remain the ice vendor for this years event. Maybe the people will speak up about the current price and request a change for next year. Kim and I truly miss not being out there to serve the off road community. Wishing everybody a good and safe 2025 KOH event.

Two neighborhood parties that spread love and kindness.

The first is a simple sled hill and play area for after school play.

The second is the annual Albright Christmas Neighborhood Block Party. This is our fourth year of making snow for this adorable neighborhood. Thank you to our team and all the clients who support local businesses. We appreciate your loyalty!

Today, Helen Keller elementary school in Lynwood, (Los Angeles) emerged as a shining example of community spirit and perseverance. This morning, the school celebrated a monumental achievement, as the school leaders and PTA successfully brought their vision to life. Through a dynamic fundraising campaign, they harnessed the power of teamwork, reaching out to local businesses and securing vital donations. Their remarkable journey serves as a powerful reminder that, together, we can overcome even the most daunting challenges and create a lasting impact on the lives of those around us.

See those smiles on our faces, it’s not always like that. Long days, hard work and tired bodies are what has led to our success.

On this day 8 years ago Athans Ice House officially opened its doors for business.

We went from an old building and a Ford E350 van, to an Isuzu Cabover truck, an event trailer, two snow blowers, an F250 with a portable ice merchandiser and two “Shoulder Savers” aka 2021 & 2022 Ford Transit Van and a bobtail truck. We have one full time employee and a handful of helpers. All are valuable and contribute to our success.

The work is hard, the hours are sometimes long and the bags are heavy. But together we’ve made it this far with no plans to stop.

Thank you to the community, our customers and family for their support, business and understanding. Without all of you we would not be where we are today
