Today is my 67th birthday and I'm spending it at camp in NY doing a little hiking in the rain, watching the wildlife at the lake, and just relaxing. BUT, when I get home I have cookies to make to help ENDALZ.

Two more days until someone will win at least one of these beauties. The first ticket drawn will get first pick. Help Caleb raise money for his 12th Annual Snowdrop ULTRA 55 fundraising efforts. This year he's hoping to be successful in completing 100 miles in 55 hours. Most importantly, he hopes to raise money and awareness for by raising money for the Snowdrop Foundation while they provide scholarship to pediatric cancer survivors nationwide, research for a cancer doc at Texas Children's Hospital as well as funding programs for cancer kiddos at TCH. Caleb is 16 years old, sooooo his ticket deal is 16 tickets for $10. Of course, you can purchase one for $1.

It's that time of year again...this fundraiser always kicks off team Love Remembers (Walk to End Alzheimer's) annual fundraising, but it's also a lot of fun. Practice your favorite soup recipe and be ready to be judged. We will also have a silent auction, so if you want to bid, I'll be posting online when we have the items together, and at least one of the 2024 quilts will be on display! I am so grateful to Gina Dockal for replacing one of my printers. I'm scheduled to do the photo booth at the annual Zoey's Angels Fun Walk this Sunday, so I will be able to print photos for the participants. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. I am truly surrounded by awesome humans!
I have about half of my backdrops at home, but I had 3 Christmas, 1 Halloween, 1 dual-sided blue backdrop and one more general use backdrop at the church. So, if you need a certain backdrop, we'll have to work with what I have--I also don't have a stand since it was set-up for parents night out and is still at the church (cannot take it out at this time, and maybe not at all).

A result of the fire at my church yesterday is the drowning of my printers. I was keeping them there so I could do photos at parents Night Out...
So, until further notice, I cannot print photos on site. I don't make a profit on this "business" since the couple of paying jobs each year don't outweigh the photo booths I do for my selected charities, so I'm not sure if I will be replacing them.

I haven't done a photo booth in a long time and am encouraged by the homemade backdrops and "booths" individuals create. I want to help you make it better!
1. Buy a frame, or attach to the wall, at least 10' wide and 10x tall (this accommodates the guy who is 6'5" and wants to make himself taller by raising his hand in the air) and so the only thing in the photo are the subjects and backdrop.
2. Get as close as possible so the only thing you see in the photo are your subjects and backdrop.
3. If necessary, crop photos so all you see are the subjects and backdrop (do you sense my theme?).
4. Props are fun, but make sure there is at least one "normal" photo so you can recognize yourself later (yup, it happens).
5. Have fun creating memories.
6. If you want me to do all the heavy lifting, print out photos immediately, send you all photos taken during the event, just message me. My price is all inclusive, no added charges.

Just letting everyone know that I will not be doing the photo booth until I am absolutely sure it is safe. The photo booth has lots of props that can easily transfer germs. I'm very careful, but there is no way I could keep everything safe at a busy event. I will let everyone know when I'm back in business! Thanks to everyone who has supported me in the past. Having paying customers is my way to be able to afford to photo booth for my favorite charities, so I am anxious to get back into the swing of things.
