Our Unique Location....
Santa Fe, New Mexico is the second oldest European city in North America and the second largest art center in the US. Artists, musicians, spiritual seekers and tourists flock to this high desert community for it's beauty, charm entertainment and mystique. The Native American and Spanish influences are still strong. The Vision of Sangre de Cristo Arts and Culture
Sangre de C

risto Arts & Culture exists to encourage community involvement in the pursuit of good, truth and beauty. SCAC seeks to inspire and involve artists and art lovers in events and activities that are uplifting and that promote the spirit of community. SCAC values and promotes involvement in the creative process and especially encourages cultural expression while holding to a Biblical Worldview in all things. SCAC believes the pursuit of these things will result in blessings for individuals and for the city of Santa Fe. Objectives
• Community – Hold casual gatherings where people can communicate freely, feel welcome and included. Build a community of artists and art lovers.

• Encourage artistic expression – Hold events that provide opportunity for artistic expression and a platform for developing and professional artists.

• Establish a Center - Proceed with the legal documents, personnel recruitment, organization and fundraising needed to open a permanent home for Sangre de Cristo Arts and Culture and its activities.

• Celebrate the Uniqueness of Cultures – Display art and hold events that help us all appreciate and understand better the diversity and creativity that is unique to people groups of the world.

• Bless the City of Santa Fe – Present truth, beauty and grace to the residence and visitors of Santa Fe so that they may better understand Jesus’ statement in John 10:10 “The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life - - Life in all its fullness.”

My REAL BIRTHDAY is coming up on February 29th. I’ve been waiting FOUR YEARS for this. I have decided to have my birthday fundraiser to be for our missionary in Nagaland, India, MC Mwchang Jamatia, who needs a new motorcycle. It’s his only form of transportation. His ministry is to bikers in Nagaland. My goal is $6000. You can donate at YWAMSantaFe.org and Note it’s for the Jamatias. Thank you for helping with this very worthy project. By the way… I will be 19 birthdays old on February 29th. 🎂😁

Hey Santa Fe folks.... We're having another Open Mic at the Mosaic Music & Arts Cafe. This one is sure to be special as my good friends and former music staff in Amsterdam, Fred & Mary Dallenbach will be there to share some songs. I've heard that 9yr old Emily may be back too. It's really fun to hear everybody's music. Always great coffee too. Hope you can join us.

Important Announcement: We have recently been able to secure a location to launch the art center we have been praying for for over 20 years. We have chosen the name "Mosaic Music & Arts Café. We will be posting photos and activities primarily on that FaceBook page rather than here. Hope you can come join us for an event. https://www.facebook.com/mosaicmusicartscafe

On this giving Tuesday I hope you will be generous as there are so many needs all over the world. If you would like to invest in what we are doing with Youth With A Mission Santa Fe, you can give at YWAMSantaFe.org.
Or you could mail a check made out to “YWAM Santa Fe” and mail it to PO Box 22009, Santa Fe, NM 87502
The money will go towards supporting a Romanian church that continues to minister to the Ukrainians, to a church planting project in Nagaland, India, and locally to the needs at the Jemez Pueblo. Thank you for caring.

We had so much fun in June as we held a concert in Karen Lafferty’s backyard. It featured Gleewood ( Jhett & Callie Sioux Schiavone). After a welcome
From Karen and opening with her “New Mexico Song”, the local musicians John & Diane Gibbs, with Justin Bransford On upright bass, shared a crowd pleasing set of many self composed songs. The combination of professionalism and personal connection with the audience from Gleewood made for a magic evening of good music for the neighbors and friends who attended. The concert can still be viewed here. SCAC hopes to have at least one more of these Intimate Backyard concerts while the warm weather is still here to enjoy.
