We are moving Ecstatic dance from Body Yoga this Sunday, June 4th to the railyard park behind Site Santa Fe to support Sol Sundays.

Edance sets rom 5:00-8:00pm. We will have a 3 hour block with 3 Dj’s, out on the grassy area of the Railyard Park behind SITE Santa Fe.

Angela Ognev will be sharing from Contact Beyond Contact (CBC), a dance & healing practice that integrates Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation, Qi Gong, breathwork, and more for deeper connection with oneself, an-other, the group, and the space. This Sunday Ecstatic Dance at body we welcome out of state musician Coop Mahndala! He is ecstatic to share his soul with you through his music. A multi-instrumentalist live looper and producer, get ready for an eclectic set spanning many genres. We will journey together in this beautiful container deeper into our bodies and being, freeing anything that may not be serving us through the powerful practice of our movement and breath. Coop Mahndala’s intention is for all beings to leave feeling happy and free, rooted into their truth, and most importantly… silly, sacred, sexy, and savage!

Anahata is a Nevada City California and recently Big Island Hawaii based female ecstatic dance dj playing regularly at Kalani, Hawaiian Sanctuary, and Garden Temple, as well as festivals and retreats. She syntheses tribal bass & tribal house and the global- electronic community inspired by world and indigenous sounds of South America, Cumbia, India, the Middle East & Japan.

She has DJed and played music festivals, retreats and ecstatic dances internationally and weaves this energy as well as her work with indigenous tribes into her music.
