• Main Street Santa Monica The holidays are in full swing! We look forward to welcoming the community at the annual Miracle on Main Street tree lighting celebration this SUNDAY from 3:30-7pm. 🎄✨

Story time at 3:30pm and don’t miss Santa’s grand entrance at 4pm followed by the tree lighting count down at 5:30pm, along with kids activities, ornament making, live music and a pop-up during the event.

Let it snow ❄️☃️ Let it snow!

December brings winter themed story time at Ivy Station! We shared books about snow, snowballs, snowmen and more! We sang songs winter carols while dancing with scarves and jamming with instruments and even had a faux snowball fight! We also created snowmen with clay!

Feeling all the feelings today, but as we move through the darkness always holding onto hope and positivity for a brighter future for my girls. For the mini book lovers who gather at my Story Times. For your children. For my children. For ALL children.

Thank you for your words and this graphic • Thank you. For giving us hope. When our hope turns to heartbreak, we look to the young girls who will continue to carve out a path to the White House. And to all of you educators, we do our part to help chip away the sexism and racism that is still so prevalent in our country today. It’s never been more important to fill your libraries with books about girls and women of color - both real and imagined.
