History was made this week after Don Aguilar was named our 17th Police chief since SPPD was formed 100 years ago. This is a very exciting time for our city, as we move forward after some tumultuous months.
Don has been an amazing leader that leads by example, has done a tremendous job in the few months he was interim Chief, leading the department thru some of darkest times in its history. We Santa Paulans can now very proudly say that we have the leader we deserve. Congratulations Chief Aguilar, to many years of great leadership.
