Lisis! Love them and so does Trixie. I learned a lot from this year's experiment. Even if you hear that a certain variety doesn't need to be netted, it sure as heck does if Trixie is in the picture. Our very garden centric cat decided to make a king size bed in our Lisianthus patch! If we do them next year, I dare her to make a nest over taut netting.

Last week we gave Memorial Hospice bouquets to share with their clients. Giving sure makes you feel great! Thank you to all our friends who came to Flower Friday and made this gift possible. I wish they all could have seen the wonder and delight on the faces of the hospice volunteers when I made the delivery. I swear, I have the best job in the world!!

Every day our flowers grow taller waiting patiently to be picked for our subscribers. We anticipate our season to begin around the first week of July. We have 5 week and 10 week subscriptions, pick your number of arrangements and pick the frequency. Enjoy farm fresh flowers picked by elves in the early hours of the day. Bouquets are in vases ready to gift or enjoy yourself!

A free range Dalia that came back from last year. I thought I had pulled up all my tubers but this little guy got by me. It wasn’t very pretty last year from a seed but it is gorgeous now! Nature is weird.

Bouquets to light up some lives!  We will be delivering to a residential home in the neighborhood of one of our customers.  (Thank you, Greg)  Our unique flowers are picked in the cool of the morning and placed in the wine cellar to ensure the freshest blooms possible.  Every Friday night during harvest, we gather together to make bouquets.  Our hope is that Moonlight Blooms bouquets can lift spirits, soothe souls and bring on love.  If you know a residential or care facility that you would like to fill with flowers, visit our website at moonlightbloomsfarm.com

The beginning of the first Flower Friday! The pickings were slim but the bouquets ended up being beautiful. The season for us is just getting started and I can’t wait for harvest to take more than one morning. It’s such a zen feeling picking blooms right when the sun comes up.
