Luther Locals with Grateful Tuna
Grateful Tuna came on the scene just a short while ago and was an instant hit with Bay Area music fans who know and love the double dose of guitar and bass from the classic Hot Tuna albums of the 1970s. When Grateful Tuna performs Hot Tuna songs, that’s exactly what they deliver – the fingerpicking and the leads along with the incredible melodic bass.
Quicksilver Gold and Melvin Seals’ JGB veteran, Peter Harris, deploys his extensive chops to recreate the leads, while Tuna students, Charlie Harris and Jody Salino, deliver the goods on bass and finger style guitar.
And the Hot Tuna songs are only a portion of a Grateful Tuna performance. Fans are treated to incendiary versions of classics from many of the great folk, blues, and rock catalogs beloved by 60's music fans, making Grateful Tuna concerts the kind of experience Bay Area music fans are looking for. And, if that’s not enough, Grateful Tuna complements all of the above with their own original material. All views expressed in this broadcast are those of the Artist.

Luther Locals with Marshall House Project
Marshall House Project is a driving soul funk outfit with one foot rooted deep in the pockets of the past and the other fearlessly exploring the deep fry of the future. The sound is an eclectic electric love child: the product of an affair between Jimi Hendrix and The Funky Meters, after a long night of drinking with space aliens and jamming to Bob on the jukebox. MHP delivers a volcanic performance of energetic funk and slinky soul with a psychedelic twist and a chili salt rim. The mission: to create an uplifting dance experience spun full of twists and turns, interlaced with conscious reflective lyrics and sizzling solos expanding, contracting and alive, like a universe unto itself.
