PARKS & REC UPDATE
Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 the City of Sarasota Parks & Recreation District’s pools, summer camps, and all programming are on hold due to the upcoming Tropical Storm Elsa. The following recreational facilities have been closed:

- Arlington Park and Aquatic Complex, 2650 Waldemere St.
- Lido Pool, 400 Benjamin Franklin Dr.
- Nature Trails at Bobby Jones Golf Club, 1000 Circus Blvd.
- Payne Park Tennis Center, 2050 Adams Ln.
- Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34th St.
- Bayfront Community Center, 803 N. Tamiami Tr.
- Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Tr.

Sarasota Municipal Auditorium offices will be closed on Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5, 2021.

City of Sarasota administrative offices will be closed Monday, July 5, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

RESTROOMS & TILE
The foyer renovations at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium are looking fantastic!

Both restrooms have been gutted and new tile is placed. We can't wait to show you more updates this month, so stay tuned!⠀

FOYER RENOVATION
The grand entrance to the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium is getting a complete renovation upgrade, along with both the men's and women's restrooms. This week the concrete flooring is being removed, along with the entrance walls getting a fresh and clean textured paint palette.

The Sarasota Municipal Auditorium offers the front foyer for ticket sales or registration along with a staging area for catering. This space is a definite must-have for any event!

MEMORIAL DAY - Here are a few things you need to know about the holiday in Sarasota this year:

🏛 City offices will be closed
🗑 City garbage collection schedules are NOT affected
🇺🇸 Memorial Day parade is canceled, but there will be a ceremony 11 a.m. May 31 @ J.D. Hamel Park
