Do you know the name of this flower? They are commonly known as.. ✨️ King Protea ✨️ Scientific name : Protea Cynaroids They are a perennial that can be grown in zones 9 -12 and have a vase life of 16 days if properly cared for. We are using them for a beach wedding this weekend. The bride loves them, so of course we made them the focal point for her wedding flowers. You often see them added in tropical arrangements. Contrary to popular belief, they are not technically a tropical flower. They are native to Cape Florist Region of South Africa, a biodiversity hotspot in the south/southwestern mountain range. They are such a beautiful and unique flower. We love the trend and can't wait to share the end result of this wedding with you all.
