My Dream Came True!

I have been in the flower industry literally my whole life - I stood on a stool in my parent’s flower shop in Indianapolis. I was thrilled to move to Florida with my family to enjoy the water and all of Florida’s beauty. I was the managing designer for a local florist but after 18 years, it was apparent I needed to change the course of my career. I was enjoying the life we built but all changed quite abruptly, I became a widow.

When the opportunity presented itself to finally own my own shop, I gathered my courage, overcame some huge fears and Sue Ellen’s Floral Boutique opened in February, 2018. I am grateful to my family and friends for helping me and am thrilled that word has spread, my shop is “blooming”. My goal is to remain a boutique florist where we can share our customer’s life celebrations and help them find comfort in times of sorrow. Flowers express what words can not many times. I am blessed to share my love of flowers with customers that are now my friends.
