This past Sunday, our community came together for the heartwarming and joyous A Taste of Chanukah festival at the beautiful Phillippi Estate Park. The event was filled with holiday spirit and a vibrant sense of Jewish pride that was truly tangible.
Presented by Chabad of Sarasota, under the leadership of Rabbi Chaim and Sara Steinmetz, this festival is just one of many opportunities created to bring Judaism to life—with a smile—while fostering a deep sense of community and Jewish identity.
💫A special thank you to Skip Dyrda for his incredible talent in creating the graffiti menorah that carried the uplifting slogan, “Am Yisrael Chai!”
💫Kudos to Rabbi Zev Steinmetz of Chabad of West Bradenton for dropping the chocolate coins from the helicopter. The helicopter “gelt drop” is an exciting annual tradition at A Taste of Chanukah.
💫Kudos to Rabbi Levi Steinmetz of Chabad of Downtown Sarasota for the awesome Cybertruck Menorah!
💫We are deeply grateful to all of the sponsors, volunteers, and participants who made this event such a beautiful success. Your contributions helped create a memorable celebration that brought the community together in such a meaningful way.
