Our Story
The Saratoga Chamber Of Commerce, Saratoga Spa State Park, and the Saratoga Farmers' Market is proud to host New York’s Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off this September! Giant pumpkin growers from the Northeast compete to find the biggest pumpkin of the year! Last season we had 40+ giant pumpkins. This year prizes will total $8,500!! Who can enter the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off? Anyone! Anyone is welcome to enter their giant pumpkin-it doesn’t matter whether you’re a professional farmer, a family with a backyard garden, or a kid growing their own pumpkin for the first time. We welcome all entrants! We’ll also have special prize categories for locally-grown giant pumpkins open to Saratoga County residents. For more information go to www.saratogagiantpumpkinfest.org.
