We brought upstate NY to Dawson’s hometown and it was beyond worth it😍

It’s funny, I was always under the impression that once you have kids, following your dreams/passions were no longer an option.

What happened to me was the complete opposite though.

I was in a totally different career when I had my boy. At that time I thought that is what I’d “have” to do for the rest of my life.

I eventually became so passionate about my videography career and spending my days working with my cameras, that I had to go in the direction my heart was pulling me.

When all said and done, it was this little human that made me have to choose which direction I was going.

He has since joined me at wedding shows, he’s actually helped me shoot and setup equipment 😅, he’s given me the harshest and sweetest feedback 😂
and he’s been the most patient human as owning your own business (as most of you know), is time consuming and often demanding.

He reminds me to follow your dreams/passions, let go of what’s holding you back, and believe you can. 🙏😘💙 and seriously so cliche BUT… you only live once!

These two are some of the most relaxing people to be around and focused on what matters most, friends and family.

Last month they were married in the Catskill Mountains and had one of the nicest days in April. This was extra exciting because the newer outdoor space for ceremonies at Windham Manor is absolutely amazing!!! It's like a little oasis by the creek... check it out 😍

Dreamy it was!
They had an incredibly gorgeous fall day on Lake George. 🧡💚💛 it’s still gorgeous, so get there now to see the magic yourself before the leaves are all gone 😍🥰

The Sagamore is one of those places I’d be excited to film at over and over… we explored the grounds for a while and could’ve kept going honestly. The resort is busy usually but it’s got enough space to move around and still capture all the beautiful views.

It was also fun to work with … we worked together last year at the Sagamore, so happy anniversary Dori 😅

An emotional ceremony based around pure love for each other and God, followed by a party surrounded by their favorites… it was a perfect wedding day. 🙏 They were engaged at Glen Sanders and it made their wedding day that much more meaningful to them. Holy gorgeous wedding day 😍 I seriously film for the coolest of humans and I am so damn grateful 🙏 Sydney, Justin, AND their family/friends were the best people to spend a day with. From dancing, singing, and being goofs together … they were loving life. Family is a priority to them and they made this known from the beginning. Sydney did a first look with not just her dad, but also her brother. Their family conducted the speeches as well. It’s a beautiful thing 🥰🙏 They also picked a great crew and amazing venue to work with that day. It was my first time at @peronafarms in NJ and I LOVE it there. “Where we can all walk out, they choose not to” And that is one of the most beautiful parts of marriage… you are choosing to never walk out on this human that you’ve fallen in love with. Neither of you are perfect but you won’t walk out on each other or stray from one another. This beautiful couple and I spoke in 2020 when things were not as they are today… Rachel had such an optimistic and positive outlook for her wedding that I was truly EXCITED to film for them. If you haven’t learned already, I absolutely LOVE what I do. Here’s THE teaser of @_nikkilyn and @mike_berteletti Staten Island brings a different kind of energy 😍🥰 I LOVE it! Lake George is a place where a lot of people (especially my downstate NY and NJ friends) come to find peace and quiet and get away from it all. It’s a place where many people vacation since they were kids and they just fall in love. This was the case for Nikki and Mike. They knew they had to get married there. Lake George is a place easy to explain in my opinion. It’s absolutely gorgeous visually, with mountains surrounding the lake. You can find busy main streets on one side of the lake and peace and quiet on the other. There are hiking trails galore, gorgeous huge castles and resorts, and so much history. I could go on and on. Nikki and Mike had so much planned for their day that was special to them in and surrounding the Lake George area. I was even able to see a new pond up north where they have a family home. I love exploring and seeing new places 😍 there are so many secret magical places in upstate NY.
