PRESS RELEASE: Palm Springs Triathlon to Host the 2023 USAT Military and First Responders National Championships

(December 14, 2022) Alpha Win is excited to host the 2023 USAT Military and First Responders National Championships. The Championships will be held at the Palm Springs Triathlon on October 21, 2023, at the beautiful Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park in California.

“We are extremely honored to be hosting such a prestigious championship event. These individuals put their lives on the line for us to be able to live ours. We are thrilled to be able to recognize such amazing people,” said CEO Tommy Struzzieri. The Championships honor all military personnel and veterans, as well as recognize police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical services (EMS) workers. The championship will feature the Sprint and Olympic distances with the following award categories: Overall Military Active Duty, Overall Military Veteran, Overall First Responder Police/Law Enforcement, and Overall First Responder Fire/EMS. Athletes do not need to qualify in order to participate in the event.

The race weekend will also include a Youth Splash and Dash event, where participants ages 7-15 will be introduced to the sport via a swim-run format, and a Half distance (70.3) triathlon.
