Bittersweet news from BOTP owner, Tripp Bassett:

I am thrilled to announce that I will be passing the torch of Barn on the Pond to a new owner. This turnkey home and business of lodging and events is up for sale after 13 years of hard and rewarding work!

When the property was acquired, airbnb and wedding and events sites such as theknot, rusticweddingchic and weddingwire were not in existence. The iPhone had just been released and social media was in its infancy. Hudson Valley and the Catskills region of upstate New York have made a massive comeback with its most recent rebirth as a stunning summer escape for one of a kind vacations, gatherings and events.

I hope to pass on to the next proprietor this high quality foundation that was shaped and developed over the years by a team of highly talented and award winning co-creators.
