This month 8 years ago I quit my job. I'd already been doing photography for 7 years as a side hustle, but i was terrified to make the leap with no safety net to catch me- there were so many things I would have to figure out on my own. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've stood in church basements, in living rooms, in backyards with you. I've watched your grandma button your wedding dress, your husband cry as you come down the aisle, your friends there for any little thing you needed. I've teared up over father daughter dances, the most beautiful promises made to each other. I've laughed right along with the crowd at the best speeches, at the crazy bridal party entrances. I've witnessed so much beautiful humanity, and I'm completely enamored with the way we come together for each other for these moments, the way we celebrate these milestones. I'll never get over it, and I'm insanely grateful to all of you who let me share in your moments, whether it be your wedding day or capturing your family in whatever season you may be in. Happy 8 years of doing this full time to R+A. I can't imagine doing anything else 💓✨️

First session of 2025 😍✨️ I'm so damn excited for this year. I've had so many of you reach out to book already, and I'm so grateful. I'm taking on less this year so I can have a bit more family time. Enjoying Oliver while he still thinks I'm cool is my priority 😂 So even if you're thinking you want a summer or a fall session, reach out ahead of time. Also, you'll book your month, not a specific date. The month prior to your selected month, I'll reach out to finalize a date - this works well as we all have busy, ever changing schedules!
