Everyone knows it’s Aug. Every one knows it’s hot. But what everyone doesn’t know is that we had 50 fabulous business owners go above and beyond on Saturday to make the End of Summer Bash a great event. Even with the stress of it all, I’d like to say thank you for coming. Thank you for reminding me why I support small businesses. Thank you for your grit and determination no matter the obstacles. Thank you for the example and lessons learned.

Our goal with Mgnolia Market Events is not only to provide a great experience for those who shop these events, but also to help improve the experience on the vendor side of things; and along the way, helping out a few amazing organizations doesn't hurt either!

The organization we're working with for the End of Summer Bash on August 12 is the Iron Men of Savannah. Not only are a portion of the event registration going back to this organization, but they have also graciously offered to host a cookout at the event! And what's better than an actual summer cookout?? $5 combos!

The Ironmen is a ministry first formed as a brotherhood to encourage, strengthen and lift each other up. Secondly, as being the men of the church, we take care of the physical needs of the church such as small repairs, and beautification. As willing servants, we hold fundraisers to to raise money for different needs which arise, such as contributing for the benevolence of our church, donating for the needs of local ministries and ministries abroad. With God's guidance, and the help of the holy spirit, this ministry has been a vital part of our church for over 12 years.

Timeline reminder: The dealine to finalize your registration for the End of Summer Bash is July 16. Please check your inbox (and/or spam folder) for your approval email with registration link. Space cannot be guaranteed until registration is paid. Applications will be reopened on a FCFS basis for any spaces not guaranteed.

In order to have more events, we need great venues. Do you know of a small biz who would like to host? A large parking lot? A beautiful shady area? A cool warehouse? Feel free to tag them or shoot us a message and we’ll get busy working out the details!

We are almost maxed out on vendor spaces for the End of Summer Bash. If you have applied already, keep an eye on your email. Approvals are going out this morning!

Q: Why do we charge a registration fee?

A: there’s a couple of reasons. The first- small businesses need all the support the can get. So if that means we break the fee up, even a little, it may help you plan which events you attend a bit easier.

And second- How many times have you looked at something, added to cart and never completed the purchase? Sometimes, this simple act moves your commitment needle just enough that should something come up, you already know you’ve already penciled the event in your book.

Follow up answer: We will close applications when spots are filled. And should an event category fill up, we will post it here.
