Not every wedding gown has a story like this.....
Miranda attended for fashion design, where she met + worked alongside one of her besties, Ashley Romesko. They both now live in NYC fulfilling their fashion design dreams. When the time came for Miranda to design her wedding gown, there was no other person who could do as beautiful and personal a job as Ashley, who now owns , a custom vintage + bridal atelier.
A dress and project worth 1,000 words. Together they spent 8 months crafting a wearable sculpture with 1,500 beads, custom silk florets, a 10 foot long train, removable skirt, and sleeves, each part with a story. Miranda + Ashley pulled inspiration from Italian architecture, gothic embroidery, and the iconic Savannah weeping willows and included sentimental elements like Miranda's grandmother's jewelry. Each piece of the dress was handmade in New York City, with every flower hand-crafted in India by couture embroiderers, merging the beauty of tradition and craftsmanship. The dress represents more than just a garment; it’s a symbol of their friendship, creative journeys, and shared passion for fashion and design.
As a fine art wedding photographer, completely bespoke wedding day elements such as this is what I live and breathe for.
