What a grand finale to our three incredible days with Exterro! We sailed into the sunset aboard a Savannah Riverboat that we transformed into a dazzling three-story speakeasy. Guests tried their luck at casino tables on the main deck, danced to DJ beats on the second floor, and lounged to sultry 1920s jazz up top. The perfect blend of Southern charm and Gatsby glamour on the river! It was so much fun bringing this event to life! 🎲🎭🚢

Earlier this month, we hosted a wonderful group from Exterro for a three-day event. We welcomed our guests with true Southern hospitality – curating goodie bags filled with local delicacies including handmade cheese straws, classic pralines, and delectable bear claws. The evening came alive with our Low Country themed welcome party, complete with custom stage design and decor that captured Savannah's essence. Our special guest, Forrest Gump himself, greeted attendees while they created lasting memories at the 360-degree photo booth experience. Day one was pure magic in the Hostess City – stay tuned for more! ✨🎉

We had so much fun organizing an evening ghost tour event for this great group last week! Ghost tours are always a fun way for guests to see the city, learn some history, and have some spooky fun. 👻

We had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful group from Homecare Homebase last week at The Alida and planning several fun activities for them. The first night, the group enjoyed a History and Haunts walking tour around downtown Savannah. On the second day, we provided a makeup artist to assist with hair and makeup for attendee interviews, massages, and a fabulous dinner at The Olde Pink House. On the final day, we arranged for them to have a relaxing sound bath meditation to start their day refreshed and rejuvenated. It was a great few days with a great group of people!

It was a pleasure to host a wonderful group in Hilton Head Island last month for their Board of Directors meeting. The first night we organized a sunset dinner cruise, including centerpieces and entertainment. The second night, we provided table décor again and a wonderful steel drum player.

On the final day of our big four-day event earlier this month, the group split up for a variety of activities. One group headed down to Tybee Island where one they went kayaking and another visited Fort Jackson, the Tybee lighthouse, and did a beach ecology walk followed by a delicious lunch at North Beach Grill. Meanwhile, another group went downtown for a SCAD Museum of Art tour, lunch at the Gryphon Tea Room, and an art class where they painted the Forsyth Park fountain. For their final evening event, we arranged to have our friend Forrest Gump stop by as well as two storytellers and an aerialist. It was an incredible week for a wonderful group!

A four-day event means lots of activities and that’s exactly what we provided for this awesome group last month. In typical Savannah style, the first night they kicked off their event with dinner at The Olde Pink House. On the second day, we arranged for a cooking lesson at Chef Darins Kitchen Table - Hands-on Cooking Classes & Kitchen Store and clay shooting, followed by an evening event at the Roundhouse. At their awards dinner on the third night, we arranged for a spectacular watercolor artist to provide portraits for the guests.

A scavenger hunt through downtown Savannah followed by a delicious dinner at Soho South Cafe makes for a wonderful day! Our awesome staff had a great time hosting this group (another repeat client!), handing out prizes to the first and last-place teams, and showing off our beautiful city.

Earlier this month we had the pleasure of hosting one of our repeat clients at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. We provided décor, games, and entertainment courtesy of our friend Georgia Kyle. It’s always a treat to get to work with great clients over and over again!

Kristin attended 3 great sessions and an awards dinner at the ADMEI Conference yesterday. Benji Harris with Song Division performed a fantastic song for the outgoing president as he does every year, and Kristin was thrilled to be able to attend the Hot List session, which hasn’t happened since a month before the COVID shutdown in 2020. It has been a great week at this awesome conference!

Yesterday was another action-packed day at the ADMEI Conference for Kristin. She attended several excellent sessions, including a DMC owners and general managers round table, a fascinating session about AI in the meetings and events industry, and a planners panel. She capped off the day with a great offsite event at Flight Club.

On the second day of the ADMEI Conference, Kristin was one of the speakers on the DMC Institute panel where she discussed several topics, including the role of a DMC, an overview of DMC core services, tours and teambuilding, transportation, special events, and meeting services. She also got to participate in a tour of Amusement Masters' warehouse to see all of their equipment and games where she volunteered to be the first person to try out their human claw machine!

Today kicked off the first day of the 2024 ADMEI Annual Conference, and Kristin is excited to be attending and presenting this week. Her first stop was the Certification and Accreditation Board Meeting, which she really enjoyed as she is passionate about continuing education and teaching event management courses at Savannah Technical College. She also attended the DMCP Study Session and enjoyed listening and being a part of the review.

On the second day of the ISEE event, we hosted them for a fun morning of goat yoga where the attendees got to experience some relaxing stretches alongside some very cute, furry friends. On the third day, we arranged for a tour of the historic district with stops at the Andrew Low House and Davenport House and a delicious lunch at Vic’s on the River. It was a great week!

Last month, we helped host the International Society of Explosives Engineers - ISEE for a city-wide event that brought more than 1,800 attendees to town! We planned a number of activities for them over the course of their three-day stay, including a game center where they held several competitions. We had a rock-climbing wall, s***t ball, a roller derby game with horse racing, and a high striker. It was a fun way for them to indulge in some friendly competition and get to know their peers.

We had a blast hosting this group last week on a beautiful February night at the Georgia State Railroad Museum. In addition to a delicious dinner, they were able to see a live blacksmith demo and a train demo!

Here’s a brief look back at an incredibly fun and busy year filled with tons of conferences, meetings, activities, teambuilding exercises, dinners, tablescapes, and decor galore! We had such a great time working with many new and established clients, vendors, and team members.
