Admiring the Forsyth Park Fountain before it flows green this Friday! 🍀 It’s 165 years old and still dazzling locals and visitors alike. We appreciate the care our Park and Tree Commission takes when greening the fountain to allow our city to enjoy this special tradition AND keep the fountain in beautiful condition for us to enjoy all year long!

The Cathedral Basilica is beautiful!

This church was organized in 1799. In the 1830s a larger church was built. In 1876 Bishop William H. Gross dedicated the French Gothic Cathedral. Details include stained glass windows installed in the early 1900's, chapels of Sacred Heart and Blessed Virgin Mary, Coat of Arms of Pope John XXIII, marble alters, Persian rugs and wall murals.
