What started 43 days ago has just ended for me..Although my brothers in Red have a few more days …This was without a doubt the Biggest & Best Santa Season Chicago Santa’s has ever had in this, our 50th Anniversary year..From the Santa Suite at Swiss Hotel..to the iconic Wrigley Field..from the Lion House at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo to the 1,000’s of twinkling lights at Sparkle in Rosemont..from the Santa Sets at Cabelas & Bass Pro..to Santa’s Sleigh at 900 North Michigan Ave. We have held more babies, smiled with Grandparents and taken easily over 100,000 photos. I’m not getting any younger but all my aches and pains seem to disappear, my worries evaporate till December 26 and I have been definitely walking with a little bounce in my step. I can speak for all the 27 of the Santa’s employed here at Chicago Santa’s who have accepted the calling and realize the great responsibility that comes with Joy, Love and Magic of Santa Claus . My last duty tonight was to send a message to a 9 year girl in Ireland who has Cancer and had some intense surgery last week…Thank Goodness she’s doing well…This Santa gig is an awesome responsibility, one we all take seriously…After 684 jobs in 45 days I say thank you I sat to all my Brothers and Sisters in Red Merry Christmas and let’s all count our blessings we made it through another season

Our Santa's are back again this year at Alma’s...Breakfast with Santa, is returning this winter season. On Saturdays and Sundays beginning November 25 through December 23, families are invited to enjoy a special holiday-inspired breakfast buffet, featuring an assortment of upscale options for both children and adults to enjoy, while Jolly Old Saint Nick relaxes near the fireplace, waiting to visit with good boys and girls and listen to their holiday wishes.

Santa and buffet are available Saturdays and Sundays 7-11 am. Price is $45 for adults and $20 for children ages 4-12 (includes choice of hot chocolate, coffee, tea or juice, and a visit with Santa). Reservations are required in advance and can be made on OpenTable.
