Incendio
VIA Famous Figures made a post about who would be your Olympic cauldron lighter. They probably figured we'd say our Dragon, but since this weekend is our Haryr Potter Birthday Celebration, we immediately thought of Hermonie.
Why not Harry? Well, let's not forget about the tent incident...
We're open Friday-Monday from 11am-5:30pm, and this Saturday and Sunday we will be celebrating Harry Potter's birthday!

Marvel Sasquatch
#WhimsicalWednesday Sasquatch was created by John Bryne for Uncanny X-Men #120 in 1963. While not a "natural Sasquatch," it is revealed that Dr. Walter 'Walt' Langkowski became the Sasquatch while trying to replicate Dr Bruce Banner's research with gamma radiation. However, instead of mutating his cells through the gamma rays, Dr Langkowski opened a portal that allowed a mythical beast from Canada's past to inhabit his body. At least he didn't get stuck with a Hellfire Spirit of Vengence! AmIrite Johnny Blaze?!

Whimsical Wednesday 02/21/24
#WhimsicalWednesday: While there is possible evidence for the Unicorn mythology in the artwork of Near East civilizations of 3000 – 1300 BC, it is more likely these were depictions of large wild cattle that inhabited the area called aurochs. The first written account of the unicorn mythos came from the Greek writer Ctesias in the 4th century BC. Ctesias described an animal “fleet of foot, having a horn a cubit and a half in length, and coloured white, red and black." Historians believe that Ctesias was most likely describing the oryx, but what DO YOU BELIEVE?!
Titan Thursday
#TitanThursday: We'll give you a hint, by choosing this particular fossil New York State still does not have an official State Dinosaur....
Titan Thursday 1/25/24
#TitanThursday: It's true! Although they share a common ancestor, the relationship is so distant that they remain in two separate groups. The same is true for ancient flying reptiles such as pteranodons and pterodactyls.
Whimsical Wednesday 01/24/24
#WhimsicalWednesday:
In our good old US of A, when did the first possible encounter with an Alien get published? For this, we are looking specifically at alien interaction, not reporting a UFO/UAP.
You'll be able to find the answer when you visit us this weekend! We're open Friday-Sunday 11am-6pm with final admission at 5:30.
Capital District Moms came in to see our new dinosaurs yesterday!
