WOW!!!! What a memorable year of 2024!!!!
Birthdays, Bridal showers, Baby showers, Business Milestones, Remodel openings, Kids Crusades, Stage sets, Retirement Celebrations & a ton of Weddings, You all have kept us very busy celebrating all of life’s joyous moments!
I hope it never gets clique to say- I LOVE MY JOB- because….
I get to meet so many amazing human beings. I get to take blank spaces and create a dreamy space. I get to design freely with these crazy ideas in my head. I get to make something out of nothing. I get to hear the ahhhhs, the ohhhhhs, the wows! Most of all, I get to watch the love and admiration transpire from behind the scenes. Sometimes it is the loud thunders of “ SURPRISE” or the sound of the couples “ I love you” or maybe “ Congratulations” or “ thank you for coming” or “ This means so much!” Getting to see people show love and kindness to others, to show up for them, to give graciously to them, to pull them in for a tight hug.. that is what my soul feeds on. This job feeds my spirit. All of the little thousands of moments & details lead up to those big, giant momental moments and I enjoy it all. I’m thankful for all of it. Yes, even the rough spots, the tight timelines, the seconds to spare details, the millions of decisions, the throbbing of my feet, aches in my fingers. I’m thankful for it all. It means I have a great job, a heart beat, human, and again I long for the next celebration to get another opportunity to watch it all unfold yet once again.
I thank you! I thank you for allowing every opportunity to witness such joy and love. I thank you for inviting me into your lives, your moments, your memories. I appreciate every person & companies that has hired me for their celebrations. I appreciate everyone that has liked my page, inquired about my services , left reviews and shared their opinions of my work and that of my hardworking team. THANK YOU!!!
May this upcoming year be filled with more beautiful moments and memories of life’s greatest celebrations. May we always find a reason to cherish & celebrate this life together! Let’s celebrate JUST BECAUSE life is a precious treasure that we all so often take for granted. Time on this earth, together with the people you love is a gift!

Lastly, but certainly not least-
To my team, who works tirelessly along side me, you are the glue, the glitter, the backbone. You know my weakness, my short comings, my heart before my actions, I thank you for loving me, for always saying yes, for being faithful & fruitful, trustworthy and kind. There will never be an “I” in my team. You all maintain, provide, and develop all the details with your knowledge and creativity. You all are humble, gracious, merciful, strong and most of all you serve with integrity and excellence!! I love you all and your beautiful friendship. Social Graces is successful only because of my gracious team!! I owe everything to you!!!
I have had numerous people want to join my team. While I am humbled for that, you must be able to have the qualifications above. These ladies currently on my team exceed those qualifications. They are genuine and they are full of the upmost integrity. Their work ethic is unmatched and they wear a smile and serve with humility. I adore & cherish them! They truly are amazing ladies.

A beautiful lady whom is dear to me turned 80 years young this week. Her sweet daughters invited me to be a part of this event and set up a SURPRISE celebration for her. What an honour to close out the last event of the year for 2024 with a wonderful celebration! She certainly does not look 80 years young.

This lady reminds me often that she prays for me, that she prays for my children, that she believes with me for better situations. When I take her hand in mine, I know that her prayers shake the throne room on my behalf. I love her, I honour her, I know that she has a lot more life left on this earth to do good for her friends and her family. She loves Jesus. She still sings in the choir. She talks of the Lord with tears in her eyes. She speaks admiringly about her family with love and gratitude. What a lady, what a friend!

It’s the first of November and I realize a lot of people have already jumped on into the Christmas Spirit.. and that’s perfectly fine.
However, I LOVE Thanksgiving.
I love those fall colors but most of all, I love the time of reflection and remembering.

Today, I want to make certain that my TEAM knows that I’m thankful for them. They are the fuel to my motor. Behind the scenes of planning for months and getting every single detail in order, my team are the ex*****oners. They are the real stars. Stars don’t shine, they burn. These ladies burn so bright for every single client. They don’t question how different each event is. They know if it’s on the paper, it’s what the clients want, and they get the job done burning so bright, so loving, so kind, so professional!

I can only do so much. It’s the star burners who truly do burn in many ways by the end of the night. Sometimes these girls don’t even get a lunch. Yet they show up with me time and time again. Their poor feet get very few times to sit and they pulsate at the end of the night. Yet my team keeps going with a smile, serving many other people , not just the clients. They show up, they show out, they serve, they smile and they BURN!! Legs burn, feet burn, backs burn, and sometimes they forget that their lights definitely burn.

I’m thankful for them! I’m so, so, so grateful for them. They are a part of me, my vision, my plan, my dream business and they do it all with excellence. Above and beyond the call of duty every single time!! There’s nothing they can’t or won’t do. I stretch them, they hug me. I ask of them, they go above the ask. I task them, they succeed it. I call upon them, they answer that call. Now, hey..they also have pictures and videos of behind the scenes that they could show you that we all sweat, stink, and laugh until it hurts. I love everything about them. I couldn’t have hand picked a better team even if I tried.

It was a day that couldn’t have been ordered up any more perfect with the weather. These two got a dreamy day bursting with fall colors and an Autumn breeze. The vendor teams brought their skills and talent and made this a special day to remember.

My gracious at the details!! This would be a very lengthy post if I tried to name each one.
They included sentiments that a lot of people skip over. Family was very important to them. From the Special dances, comical garter toss, wind chime, coloring pages for their little loves, guest favors, a sweet memory table, a cart of blankets, and all the generosity to vendors, this day was packed full of thoughtfulness & love for everyone across the board.

She may only have just turned 5 years old, but this little sweetheart was determined to include Jesus in her celebration.
Her love for Jesus is not anything that she wants to hide. After all, her Memaw just gained her wings and is now with Jesus in heavenly places. Including Jesus in her celebration was a MUST!!!

Thea had angel wings for her girl friends and swords for guy friends. Jesus was on top of her cake at her request and the most beautiful cookies were in shapes of stars and crosses.

She also had several ladies on hand to make her guests feel beautiful with a nail , make-up and hair stations. Halos were available as well.
Her guests had angel wings, ornaments, make up pallets, and a bag of goodies to take home.
If you were fortunate enough to be Thea’s guest on Sunday, she lavished her love for Jesus on you. After all, she wanted so badly for her Memaw to be present and she found a way to bring Heaven to all.
Happiest of Birthdays to Thea! She is truly heaven sent.

It’s ALL in the details.

Countless dreams, conversations and planning go in all the details.
It is what makes the MAGIC happen.

When you look back on all those details, you will smile. It is what makes the whole event memorable.

We are ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS! I love them. I love to hear all about the different ways that brought people together. Whether it be a wedding or any other event, the details are the “ pixie dust” that makes these events so special. Including all those subtle or unexpected details makes it so personable, so memorable and so magical.

If you are planning an event or working with a planner, make sure you include all those details. It’s the ex*****on to perfection.

Walt Disney perfectly said “ There is no magic in magic, it’s all in the details.”

Happy Birthday to Hannah! The other member of my team that is AMAZING! She’s up for anything, will do any job no matter what it may entail ..even if it means pretending to kiss the invisible groom so I can see placement. She knows that I am visual and will fall into any role.
She is hilarious, intentional, kind, caring, thoughtful, and most of all she lets Jesus shine through her. I love having her on my team. She serves many roles including the media content and has been seen as Rapunzel & Bo Peep.
Today she is mom, teacher, wife, youth Pastor among other titles. She is beautiful inside and out and can sing down the house!! 🔥 She is full of talent and mad skills!!! 😎

What they don’t tell you when you stand at an altar on a lovey-dovey afternoon in fancy outfits is that marriage, on paper, is about commitment and fidelity—but marriage, in practice, is about sacrifice and starting over.

Even when you’re tired. Even when you’re angry. Even when you don’t feel like it. Especially then.

You wake up at 3 a.m. to a snoring spouse and jab his side so he rolls over, an interruption he doesn’t remember in the morning, but you definitely do.

Start over.

You glance down at the gas gauge in your car and realize sometime in the last 24 hours, despite the tense words you exchanged over nothing in the same time frame, he filled it for you just because.

Start over.

You turn dress socks and t-shirts right-side out as you fish them out from underneath the bed and toss them onto the growing laundry pile that never seems to be conquered.

Start over.

You hear him reading a story in the other room at bedtime, making the silly monster voice that dissolves your daughters into puddles of giggles, the kind of deep-down-to-your-toes laughter you don’t show him nearly enough these days.

Start over.

You put away yet another pair of size 12 shoes that always seem to be cluttering up the didn’t-I-just-clean-this front hall, the ones that track in sand and dirt and the heavy load of responsibility he shoulders for your family quietly.

Start over.

And you learn, somewhere in the minutia of married life, that this partner you promised forever isn’t perfect. You realize how flawed and finicky and utterly selfish you are, too.

So you start over. Again and again. Day after day. For now and forever, until death do you part.

It’s true what they say: marriage can be hard work—but it’s humble and holy and beautiful, too.

In the spaces between the picture-perfect moments and the memories that weave together a lifetime stand two imperfect people who choose, sometimes even without knowing, to start over.

And it can make all the difference.

40 Years of Business with Southern Heating and Cooling! These vendors helped make such a wonderful event successful! The details on this cake is astonishing! Those cookies were so pretty! The balloons were phenomenal! The catering was absolutely amazing!! I love this team of people!!
