Fernwood, Christmas 2021 ….. The portrait over the fireplace is of Veda Jacobs Spivey original builder/ owner of Fernwood. She passed away 3/1940 . Portrait painted by John Warr 😎 collection of photos are of Fernwood throughout the years starting in 1924 when the house was completed.

When we purchased Fernwood it had no name except on the State Historical Certificate which has it as the Spivey / Adams house . Spivey was the original owner and the Adams were owners later on who put the house on the state historical marker . So let us introduce you to the ferns that named the house … Welcome to the ferns of Fernwood 😎😎 beautiful venue for your next gathering whatever that maybe .
