Members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department will be holding a BENEFIT ROAD BLOCK this Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 8:00 am until noon on the Public Square in downtown Salem, Indiana.

The Road Block will be a benefit for the family of Orange County Deputy Zach Andry, who was tragically shot in the line of duty on January 03, in Orange County, Indiana. Deputy Andry remains in a Louisville area hospital in Critical but Stable Condition.

Sheriff Brent Miller is asking our citizens to please drive through our road block and drop a donation in one of our buckets.

If you can’t make it to the road block, you can still make a donation to benefit the family of Deputy Andry at the Springs Valley Bank and Trust in French Lick, Indiana. An account to benefit the family of Deputy Andry has been established at Springs Valley Bank and Trust, located at 8482 State Road 56 under “Deputy Zach Andry and Family.” Anyone can make a donation by stopping in the nearest Springs Valley Bank and Trust or calling 1-(800)843-4947.
