On Friday I hosted a “Pressed Flower Pumpkin” workshop at the beautiful Atelier Halifax - Studio & Gathering Space. It was such a fun and relaxing workshop with a great group of girls. It’s fun to see the finished product of everyone’s creation! This beautiful venue was the PERFECT place for a workshop and I cannot wait to host more here!

We are all set up at Downtown South Boston Farmers Market! Come get a bouquet with the first dahlias of the season! There’s apple hand pies, cookies and the cutest dried flower pumpkins that last for months. Stop by the market before you visit the festival.

I will be at the Downtown South Boston Farmers Market on Saturday from 8-1. I’ll have some fresh flower bouquets, dried flower pumpkins, simmer pot packets, apple hand pies and some cookies.

FINALLY these little divas decided to show their faces this season. Not really sure what colors I have because of course all the labels went missing by a “helpful” 4 year old. But the ones we have are so cute and my favorite “Maarn” variety.

Hopefully there will be enough to bring to Woodbine next weekend for the Forks,Corks and Kegs event.

This pretty bucket is one of our monthly DIY subscription buckets. This is one of my favorite subscriptions we offer because it allows you the customer to be creative with our flowers. This row of celosia has gone bonkers lately! Some of the plants are well over 6ft tall and so full! Weston says it’s a jungle. We will have some mixed celosia bunches at the farmers market on Saturday!

We had the privilege of making these adorable bud vases for a very special lady’s 60th birthday yesterday and Weston was very much the design assistant. After placing the vases on the table to take a picture, I turned around and saw this cutie having his own photoshoot with his camera, making sure to get just the right angle☺️. He reminds me everyday little eyes are always watching! 💐📸❤️

I have these beautiful pressed frames available for purchase. All of these flowers were grown, preserved and arranged by me. The first print is called Local Goodness and its size is 20x25. The second print is called Spring Bounty and its size is 19x23. These are professionally framed and have UV museum quality glass to help keep the flowers colors for as long as possible. This is what the reality/ behind the scenes of running a flower farm completely by yourself with no employees to do tasks for you looks like. Wearing a ridiculously big hat, cold water soaked bandana, and a stupid long sleeve shirt(so you don’t fry your skin) while laying extra drip line so the flowers don’t fry in this ridiculous drought we are having. It’s not always pretty bouquets of flowers all the time and that’s ok. Also everyone should be doing a rain dance this week!🌧️🥵🌧️

I know it’s going to be hot tomorrow but we will be at the Downtown South Boston Farmers Market with flower bouquets, cookies and small flower jars! It’s Father’s Day weekend and you never know your dad may want some flowers and he didn’t even know it!
It’s Touch a Truck day at the market so make sure you come and bring your kids to see all the trucks and vehicles.
