You know when something hits just right? That feeling that you get when you know it's going to be good? That's your wisdom, your intuitive guidance that tells you to go ahead and do it.

I received a message on my IG My Bella Tavola Charcuterie account from a woman asking if I would be available to do a charcuterie board for an art show. I accepted the job. I prayed to God for some divine inspiration; curating for an artist felt intimidating but I was eager for the challenge.

As with all I'm passionate about, I poured my heart into this. Each charcuterie board that I create is one of a kind; I wanted this one to be incredibly creative given my clientele. I was encouraged to be creative, daring, and edgy, and to use my signature style of bountiful abundance and fresh flowers and fragrant herbs. The color palette was to include bright orange, pink and contrasting colors. This was exactly what I had in mind. On the eve before, I felt like a kid on Christmas. I couldn't wait to go to sleep; wake up sooner and get started.

Creating flowed effortlessly; this board was now my favorite (every board I do becomes my latest favorite, but this one was the ONE)

The cheese was gorgeous, goat cheese with a striking line of black ash, a purple wine-soaked cheese that was as delicious as it was beautiful, and the piece de resistance, an aged Gouda from Holland chosen for its majestic image of Rembrandt's famous painting, "The Night Watch".

On the day of the event, I arrived at the MOST stunning home; one of several opened by their artist owners for an art tour in the beautiful and sun lit Camelback Mountains.

I was immediately met by two incredible women, freaking fabulous women, talented, goddesses of art and design; they embraced me with such love and joy. They had an awesome energy that lifted any doubt and self-doubt that I had. I was graciously thanked, and they raved over my work. When one commented that my art was the best in the whole show, I thought for sure I was floating, dreaming, high, or all of the above. Thank you Rembrandt for showing up with me to the gig.

These women had a gift for most things, non the less which includes supporting other female entrepreneurs and women owned businesses. Their positivity, joy, and bright energy was euphoric and I was drinking the air like it was liquid gold. I felt at home.

I love what's happening. I'm so thankful. Let’s all keep shining our warm love and bright light on each other. You’re worth it; let’s give and receive.
